Iris POV
I got a text from Fenix. "Me and East made up" They text me. I call them. They pick up. "What?" I ask, baffled. "Me and East made up. She told me that the only reason that she broke up with me is because she was afraid of what we had" Fenix says excitedly. "And you believe her?" I ask in disbelief.
"Then she told me that she loved me too and kissed me" Fenix says giddy. "Wow" I say, not believing it. "I know right now we have a date tomorrow night" Fenix says. "That's great!" I say hoping I sound believable. "Iris what's wrong?" Fenix asks. Crap. "Oh nothing it's none of my business" I say. "Iris just tell me" Fenix says.
"Ok fine. Don't you think that this is just a little too familiar?" I ask. "No why?" Fenix asks. "Fenix she did this to you the last time..." I say. "But this time is different you'll see." Fenix says with tension in their voice. "Well good luck on your date tomorrow" I say, trying to lighten the mood. "Ok bye see you later I need to plan my outfit" Fenix says.
"Do you want my...." I start to say. They hang up. "Help" I say looking at my empty phone screen. I text North. "Hey did you hear that Fenix and East got back together?" I ask her. "Yeah East told me isn't that great?" North asks. "Yeah, but don't you think this is kind of strange?" I ask. "What do you mean?" North asks.
"What I mean is East runs out on the prom proposal none of us know why. Then she says yes the second time after coming back and then runs out on Fenix at the prom. And now all of a sudden she has decided that it wasn't that she was in love with me, but that she wasn't ready for love? I don't buy it." I text. "Well maybe over these past few days East has realized that" North replies. "Ok if you think so. What do I know anyway you are her sister." I reply. "Sorry I have to go East wants me to help her plan the date for her and Fenix tomorrow." North texts. "Ok bye" I text back. North wondered now how am I going to convince East to get back together with Fenix. Let alone go on another date with them.
