She throws down the letter steps on it and shoves people away. A crowd formed when North started reading the letter. I rush after North. But she's faster. I obviously can't out run a soccer player, but I know where she goes when she's upset. I get into my car and drive over to the park. I hop out of the car when I get there and run over to the bench. North is huddled over herself.
"North" I say out of breath. "Just leave me alone" she says firmly. "I didn't mean it to happen like this" I say. North stands up so fast I flinch. "Then HOW did you mean it to happen Iris!" North shouts tears on her face. "I just found out myself last night" I say. "Really so you couldn't tell that you were IN LOVE with SOMEONE ELSE!?" North shouts again. "I knew that" I say looking at the ground. "And you didn't think to TELL ME! North screams. "I was in love with two people. I didn't know that I was supposed to tell you that there was someone else!" I say tensely. "It would have been nice to have been given a heads up" North says crossing her arms. "I didn't know how I felt I didn't want to ruin what we had over nothing. I needed to sort my feelings out before telling anyone anything." I say.
"Were you going to give them the letter?" North asks. "No" I say sitting on the bench. "I just took the letter with me so that my parents wouldn't find it. If they did then they would never let me see Fenix again." I say looking up at North. "Are you sure about this?" North asks, sitting next to me. "I'm sorry, but I'm sure" I say putting my hand over North's. She covers it with her other hand. She kisses me and I kiss back knowing it's the last time. When we pull back we both have tears in our eyes. "I'm so sorry" I say.
"Hey all you did was fall in love" North says getting up and walking away to her car. I see her wiping her face and she goes. I wipe my own tears away. I'm sorry for the pain that I caused North, but I couldn't help that I had fallen for Fenix. I'm glad that she understood that. Now there's only one question remaining. Am I ever going to tell Fenix how I feel? And if I do, will they listen? I get up from the bench, get into my car and drive away. There is only one way to find out the answers to those questions and it's to ask Fenix themself.
