It's the next day on shift and Maya is still shocked about how good of a time she had last night.
"Hey squad! Let's go do some drills!" Maya shouts as they all get up
They are midway through doing drills when someone appears at the bottom of the driveway. Everyone notices who it is and runs up to her. Maya joins them not knowing who it is
"We missed you!" Stella says enthusiastically
"How is Puerto Rico?" Herrmann asks
"Oh it's great! I love it!" Gabby says smiling
"Who's this?" Gabby says turning towards Maya
"Oh I'm Maya Avery! I'm squad 3s captain!" Maya says enthusiastically
"Ahh! It's nice to meet you! I'm Gabby Dawson!" Gabby says
"Oh the famous Dawson that everyone talks about!" Maya says as Casey walks out
Casey goes pale when he sees his two ex wife's talking to each other. Kelly walks up next to him and starts laughing
"I bet you wish you took the shift off right about now!" Kelly says whilst laughing
"How am I getting myself out of this one!" Casey says panicking
"You don't! I'm the expert and I can't find a way to get you out of this!" Kelly says as gabby spots him
"Kelly!" Gabby says as she runs over and gives him a hug
"Hey Dawson! It's great to see you again! Why are you back in town?" Kelly asks
"Oh I'm only visiting for a few days! Don't worry!" Gabby says as she looks at Casey
"Matthew Casey! It's been a while!" Gabby says looking at Casey
"It has!" Casey says awkwardly
"What's the deal with her?" Maya asks
"Oh you don't know? That's Gabby! Casey ex wife!" Herrmann whispers
"That's gabby! The gabby!" Maya says shocked
"Yep! Caseys ex wife! They split up a year ago when gabby went to Puerto Rico to help people over there! Casey was a wreck and he just got over it when you came!" Cruz says
"Okay Cruz! No need to leave out any details!" Herrmann says as he laughs
"Do you think he still loves her?" Maya asks looking over at them
"They were perfect for each other! They were together for a long time! They even fostered a little boy together!" Cruz says
"You didn't answer my question!" Maya says
"It's hard to tell! He might or her might not? But the chemistry those two have is amazing! I couldn't see why they don't have feelings for each other!" Cruz says before walking away
And Maya is alone with her thoughts...
