"It says here your 5 months along!" The doctor says enthusiastically
"Wait so that means that I only have to go 1 month and I'll be out of the miscarriage zone?" Maya asks
"That's right! If our women go past 6 months without having any problems then your most likely to have a healthy and happy baby!" The doctor replies
Maya finishes up with her conversation and jumps in her car and drives back to the firehouse. She looks a little pale when she walks in and plans on talking to Casey but he is out on a call. Kelly is sitting at the squad table and notices her looking a little rough
"Hey Maya!" Kelly says smiling
"Hey!" Maya says walking over to him
"How did the appointment go?" Kelly asks as Maya sits down at the squad table
"Yeah! It went fine! You know just like normal! Everything is fine! Nothings changed!" Maya says acting a little weird
"Okay..." Kelly replies confused
"Squad 3, Engine 51, House fire, Craig-ton street" The intercoms says
They both jump up and get into their trucks. Squad is the first to leave quickly followed by engine. They arrive on scene to discover a pretty big house on fire
"Okay squad do a secondary search! Engine! Wait out here for the all clear then put the hoses on this place!" Maya shouts
They all mask up and run in but Maya hesitates
"Maya?!" Kelly shouts
But Maya doesn't respond
"Maya?!" Kelly shouts raising his voice more
Maya finally snaps out of it and flashes Kelly a smile
Maya masks up and runs in. She heads to the top floor and finds herself in a bedroom
"Help!" Someone shouts
Maya turns the corner to discover a very heavily pregnant woman sitting in the corner. She is hanging onto her carpet for dear life and is frozen
"Come on! Let's get you out of here" Maya shouts
But the woman doesn't respond. Maya then takes her mask off and goes to sit next to her
"What's your name?" Maya asks
"Julia!" Julia says
"Okay! And how far along are you honey?" Maya ask looking at her swollen belly
"8 months!" Julia says touching her belly
"Okay! I'm 6 months along!" Maya replies
"Really?" Julia asks shocked
"Yeah I found out this morning! Now we both need to get out of here! To save our little ones! All this smoke isn't good for them!" Maya says as she puts her hand out and Julia takes it
Maya puts her air mask on Julia and guides her out. She hands her off to the paramedics and engine put the fire out. Maya is sitting on the edge of her truck coughing like mad and Kelly walks over
"Here" Kelly says handing her a water
"Thanks" Maya says as she takes the water
"What's going on with you?" Kelly asks
"Nothing! I promise Kelly! I'm fine!" Maya says before walking away
