It's the day after Maya told Kelly and Casey and is now thinking on how she is going to tell the firehouse
"It's so hard! I have to find 3 different ways to tell everyone I'm pregnant!" Maya says as she scrolls through Instagram
"I'm sure it's not that hard?" Casey says standing over her
"Please! Do you wanna see my search history! Its full of firefighter pregnancy announcements and perfect ways to tell your husband!" Maya says as she slams her phone down on the table
"Yeah might wanna clear your search history?" Casey says as he laughs
"How about we just don't tell them?! There that's a perfect idea! I mean there never gonna know!" Maya says looking down at her belly
"They are gonna know! And I know your gonna find the prefect way to tell them! Now I'll see you at the firehouse!" Casey says giving her a kiss
"Wait so your leaving me! Just like that? In my time of need?!" Maya shouts
"Promised to give Boden a ride!" Casey shouts as he opens the door and walks out
"What an ass!" Maya says
"What was that?!" Casey shouts
"How can you hear me?! The doors closed!" Maya ask confused
"Magic!" Casey shouts before walking away
Maya gets her things and walks out. She drives down to the firehouse to see Casey and Kelly standing watching her walk in
"Find a perfect way yet?" Casey asks
"As a matter of fact I have!" Maya says as they all smile
It's now time for the morning briefing and Boden is going on about the day in the firehouse. But all Maya can think about is telling them and her heart is going at 100MPH
"Does anyone else have something to add?" Boden asks as Maya raises her hand
"Oh me!" Maya says as Boden nods and moves to the side
Maya takes a deep breath and walks to the front. Whilst Kelly and Casey smile
"So I just got word that we are getting a new squad candidate! There a little bit young though!" Maya says smiling
"Oh no! I hate candidates!" Cruz says as he lays his head on the table
"It better not be one of the dumb ones!" Herrmann adds
"Yeah! That know nothing about the CFD!" Capp replies
"When are they getting here?" Boden asks
"I think I see them now actually!" Maya says as she walks into the common room
She grabs her ultrasound picture and puts it over her stomach
"Here they are!" Maya says holding up the picture
Everyone looks at the picture and cheers
"No way! Congratulations Captain!" Cruz says smiling
"This is the best news ever!" Boden says pulling Maya into a hug
The rest come up and congratulate her and Casey pulls her away
"See! I knew you would find the perfect way!" Casey says before pulling her into a hug
