They all race to the scene and Maya feels a little weird driving by herself. She arrives on the scene just behind squad
"What have we got?" Maya asks getting out of the car
"Floors 10-20 are up in flames!" The manager says
"How many floors are there?" Maya asks
"37" the manager replies
"Okay! Squads 3 and 4 take floors 1 - 9! Truck 81 and 77 take 30-37! Engine 51 and 67 take 20-29! I want all the Luitenents and Captains taking the fire floors! Be safe in there! Let's get to it!" Maya shouts as they al mask up and run in
Maya just stares at the hotel secretly wishing she was in there. Just then she sees Boden pull up
"Chief?!" Maya says shocked
"Not anymore! I just came to see how you were doing?" Boden says
"I've just sent 6 trucks into a fire that could potentially wipe them all out! Amongst all of those trucks is my husband and father of my child! And another one is my son's godfather! So I'm not doing to great!" Maya says slightly panicking
"Hey your gonna do great!" Boden says smiling
"No I have to do great! I'm already in Grissoms bad books!" Maya says as she notices the smoke change colour
"Hold on!" Maya says walking closer to the building
"That's my new chief!" Boden whispers
"Luitenents, Capatins I'm gonna need your locations along with your trucks?" Maya says through the radio
"We're all on our floors chief!" Kelly replies
"Okay! Pull out!" Maya says
"What why?" Casey asks
"Because the building isn't safe! Now all companies pull out!" Maya shouts
Minutes later they all flood out and the building collapses and then engine get the hoses on it
"Great job today guys!" Maya says
Kelly then walks over to Maya whilst everyone is cleaning up
"Great job today chief!" Kelly says smiling
"Thanks Luitenent!" Maya says smiling
"Watch out!" Some one shouts
Maya then turns around to see a man in the bushes. He has a gun and shoots, the bullet hits Kelly in the chest and Kelly's blood is smeared onto Mayas face
"Kelly!" Maya shouts getting down on the ground next to him
Kelly is in shock and is holding his wound
"Let me see!" Maya says moving his hand to notice the bullet is stuck in his shoulder
Maya puts her hands over his wound and he winces in pain
"I know! I need an ambulance now!" Maya shouts
"There at med!" Casey shouts
"Well get me a god damn ambo now!" Maya shouts as she looks at Kelly who has tears in his eyes
