As soon as Casey leaves Maya just breaks down in tears. She doesn't know what upset her more the diagnosis or what Kelly said. She needs to get out of the firehouse but she knows she can't go to mollys. She gets in her car and drives to a bar
"Scotch Neat"Maya says as she sits down
"Coming right up" The barman says as he grabs a glass
He slides the drink over to Maya and she downs it in a spilt second
"Hit me" Maya says as she places the glass in front of him
Maya then has another...and another....and another until she is 8 drinks in
"I'm not serving you anymore! Goodnight ma'am!" The barman says before walking away
"UgH FiNe" Maya says as she gets up but stumbles
Maya then luckily manages to find her way home and falls in the door. She is laying on the floor laughing when Casey comes running out
"Maya!" Casey says as he runs over to her
"Haha! YoU ShOuLd HaVe SeEn YoUR FaCE!" Maya says drunkly
"Are you seriously drunk?" Casey says annoyed
"MaYbE!" Maya says as she gets up
"Come on" Casey says as he holds her up
"LeT's HaVe a DrInK!" Maya says as she stumbles into the kitchen
"No maya" Casey says as he grabs her hand
"GeT OfF oF mE!" Maya shouts as she snatches her hand away
As Maya pulls her hand away it hits a vase and knocks it to the floor causing it to smash
Maya then bursts out laughing
"Maya! That was your mother's vase!" Casey says as he picks up the broken pieces
"Go to bed now!" Casey shouts
"YoUr NoT mY DaD! YoU CaNt TeLl mE WhAt tO dO!" Maya says as she smiles
"Go to bed now Maya! Before you cause anymore problems!" Casey shouts
Maya then walks into her bedroom and passes out on her bed. Casey cleans up the broken glass and stays up till midnight trying to fix it
"Oh Maya" Casey says looking at the vase
This vase was the last thing that Mayas mother gave her before she died. Casey knows she is going to be heartbroken. Casey finally gets to bed at around 1 in the morning and strokes Mayas hair as he falls asleep. Maya wakes up to a banging headache
"Casey?" Maya calls out but the house is empty
She walks into the kitchen to see a note sitting on the counter with the glued vase next to it
"Kelly wanted to see Noah, I guess this is the consequences for coming home drunk - Casey" The note says
"What have you done Maya!" Maya says frustrated with herself
