"Your ex wife!" Cruz says shocked
"I thought you only married Dawson?" Kelly asks
"So you moved on! That's great!" Maya says smiling
"Yeah! Anyway enough about us!" Casey says trying not to make eye contact with Maya
"So tell me everything about squad 3!" Maya says enthusiastically
"Well that's Joe Cruz, Harold Capp and Tony Ferraris! Members of squad 3! And that's Luitenent Kelly Severide who is now working as a Luitenent on engine 51 and you already know who Casey is!" Boden says enthusiastically
"Great! Well I'm excited to work with you all!" Maya says before walking out
"She's your ex!" Cruz says
"She's hot!" Otis says
"Your not wrong there!" Kelly says smiling
"Hey! Stop drooling over Maya!" Casey says annoyed
"Tell us all the details!" Brett says
"Well..." Casey says
*July 2006*
*Caseys POV*
"I do!" Casey says smiling
"I do!" Maya says looking into caseys eyes
She was perfect! I finally thought that I had found the one. We had the wedding of our dreams which was on a sunny beach in Hawaii surrounded by our friends and family. We were married for a year when she told me she was pregnant. I had never been so excited like I was going to be a dad! 3 months into the pregnancy she felt a sharp pain in her stomach and she lost the baby. It was a girl but it broke her. She couldn't get out of her bed in the morning but we overcame it! And then a year later she got the job offer and moved to New York!
*June 2017*
"That must have been hard" Boden says
"It was! But I met Dawson and everything was fine!" Casey says smiling
"It's great to see you so positive!" Brett says smiling
"Ugh! She's like totally in love with him!" Cruz whispers
"I know! Like just ask him out!" Capp whispers back
"Is she now?" Maya whispers
"Ahh!" Capp shouts as he falls off his chair
"Captain!" Cruz says with a nervous smile on his face
"Why is Capp on the ground?" Casey asks
"I caught them gossiping!" Maya says as she laughs
"Oooo! What about?" Brett says
"Oh nothing!" Maya says as she pours herself a cup of coffee
"Okay...Umm Sylvie Brett! PIC on ambo!" Brett says putting her hand out
"I know" Maya says as she sips her coffee
"All units, High-rise fire, 56th street" The intercom says
