Kelly and Casey are called into bodens office and they sit down
"I've just had a call from med" Chief says as Casey goes pale
"So as you know Maya has been on life support and they don't think they can do anymore. It's up to Casey weather they take her off life support or not" Boden says
Kelly looks at Casey who has tears in his eyes. He stares at the ground for a hot second and gets up and walks out. He doesn't know where he is walking to but he just keeps walking
"Casey?" Kelly says running after him
"Where are you going?" Kelly says out of breath
"I don't know!" Casey says as his legs go like jelly and he just collapses in the middle of the driveway
"Casey?" The whole of 51 shout as they run over
"He's good guys! I've got him" Kelly whispers as everyone walks away
"Let's get you inside!" Kelly says helping Casey up
They walk in and Kelly sits Casey down in the common room and grabs him a cup of coffee
"Tell me what's going on up here" Kelly says pointing to his head
"I don't know to do! She deserves to live! She deserves to become a mum! But what if she's too tired to fight? What kind of Husband would I be to put her through that!" Casey says as he grips onto his cup
"Hey! In this situation I feel like it's best to be selfish! You love her Casey! And she can fight! She has a great job here and she wouldn't want to give that up! You've seen her in fires! She doesn't go down without a fight!" Kelly says smiling
"I guess! I just want to make the right decision for everyone! Not just me and not just her!" Casey says
"I'll come with you after shift! To the hospital! We can do it together!" Kelly says before getting up and walking out
He walks out onto the apparatus floor where the whole of 51 are gathered
"How is he?" Herrmann asks
"Not great! He has to make the decision weather or not to turn Mayas life support off" Kelly says
"Oh god!" Cruz says
"Poor Casey!" Mouch says
"Has he made a decision yet?" Herrmann asks
"Not yet! But I said I would go with him after shift" Kelly says as he smiles weakly
"We'll all be there too! He needs all the support he can get!" Herrmann says enthusiastically
It's after shift and Casey is at the hospital along with Kelly and the rest of 51. He has made a decision....
