Maya has just gotten a few stitches out into her leg and is being discharged from the hospital. Casey and Kelly are waiting outside for her and she limps out
"There's our favourite captain!" Kelly shouts smiling
"Work it honey!" Casey shouts as Maya dose her runway walk
"Show is a bit more sass!" Kelly says as him and Casey pretend to take tons of picture of her
"Let us see you left side! Oh and your right!" Casey says as Maya laughs
"I love you idiots!" Maya says smiling
"We love you two!" Casey says laughing
"Now show us that walk one more time!" Kelly shouts as they all laugh
Maya gets in the car and they drive home, they are halfway there when Kelly brings up New York
"Have you thought anymore about that chiefs position?" Kelly asks not taking his eyes off the road
"I mean I've kinda been occupied! You know being trapped in a hospital that's on fire kinda requires my full attention" Maya says smiling
"Very funny! I meant before you left this morning!" Kelly says as he laughs
"A little bit! Not a lot though! I mean don't get me wrong New York was amazing when I was there! They pay was 10 times better than here and the calls were much more exciting! We were going to hostages and shootings nearly everyday!" Maya says
"Sounds like a blast!" Casey says sarcastically
"Come on man! Don't be like that!" Kelly says looking at Casey in his mirror
"It's fine Kelly! But New York isn't Chicago! And it could never beat it! But come on! It's a chiefs position! I would be running my own firehouse!" Maya says enthusiastically
"That does sound pretty good! Right Casey?" Kelly asks shooting Casey a look
"I guess! But at the end of the day it's Mayas decision!" Casey says
"One that she will always leave me out of no matter what!" Casey mutters under his breath
"Huh?" Kelly asks
"What?" Casey asks confused
"Did you say something? Or am I going crazy?" Kelly asks
"Nope didn't say anything!" Casey says as Maya sits there having heard what he just said
They arrive back at the apartment and Maya pulls Casey into their room
"If your not happy with me going to New York then just say so!" Maya shouts
"Of course I'm happy for you! It's just things are going great between us! Why would you ruin that! We could be parents!" Casey says enthusiastically
"That's all you think about isn't it!" Maya asks
"What?" Casey replies confused
"Being parents! Get it warped around your head that I can't have kids Matt! And I'm not going through another loosing another kid!" Maya shouts before walking out
