Maya wakes up in the morning to find herself lying in caseys arms. She looks at the time and notices that shift starts in an hour
"Shoot! Casey!" Maya says
"Huh?" Matt says rubbing his eyes
"We're gonna be late!" Maya says getting up
"What time is it?" Casey asks tired
"7!" Maya shouts as she wanders into her room
Casey gets up and grabs a spare pair of bodens clothes and gets ready. Maya runs out of her room with half of her hair done. She pours herself some coffee and runs back in
"Just shove on some clothes!" Casey shouts
"It doesn't work like that!" Maya shouts
"You know your meant to be a captain? Can you even be late?" Casey shouts before laughing
"Haha! Very funny!" Maya says sarcastically
A few minutes later Maya comes running out with only one shoe
"Umm? Don't you need two of those?" Casey asks pointing to her feet
"Right!" Maya says rubbing back in to get her shoe
"Oh my god! I love you Maya Casey!" Casey says forgetting that him and her are over
Maya looks at him shocked
"Sorry! I Umm...forget" Casey says awkwardly
"Don't worry about it! I forget sometimes too!" Maya says giving him a reassuring smile
They walk out and drive to the firehouse. They arrive a short time later and they walk in together. Maya can see Brett roll her eyes
"You should go talk to Brett! She seems to have a problem with you talking to me" Maya says before disappearing into the firehouse
"Don't I know it" Casey says to himself as he walks in
As he is walking in Kelly joins him
"You have 2 girls practically drooling over you and you don't do anything about it!" Kelly says shocked
"I'm not like you Kelly! And I've already married one of them!" Casey says
"Even better!" Kelly says as he lets out a laugh
"I have been enjoying spending time with Maya again! It's like she never left!" Casey says sitting down in front of his locker
"I heard about your trip to the hospital last night!" Kelly says
"She needed someone there! She couldn't say goodbye to her mum alone!" Casey says smiling
"You two really loved each other then?" Kelly says sitting down across from Casey
"We did! But I told her I loved her this morning! And I called her Maya Casey!" Casey says putting his hands over his face
"Ohh! That wasn't a smart move!" Kelly says laughing
"Ahhh!" Maya shouts from the kitchen followed by a loud bang
"Maya?" Casey says running to her
