It's been a few months since the engagement and Maya has been busy with work. They have put off planning the wedding and aren't planning on having it for a while. Maya is heading into work but isn't feeling to great. She has a pounding headache and feels very lethargic. She is also very pale
"You look like death! Are you sure your okay?" Casey asks concerned
"I'm fine! It's just a bug! You men carry all sorts of germs on you!" Maya says weakly
"If your sure!" Casey says walking in and heading to the changing rooms
Maya gets changed and heads out onto the apparatus floor where she sits at the squad table.
"God Captain! You look horrible!" Cruz says
"With all due respect of course!" Capp says smiling
"I'm fine guys!" Maya says as she feels like she's gonna vomit
She runs to the bathroom and throws up. Casey notices her running so he follows her. He holds her hair back and rubs her back
"Ugh!" Maya says wiping her mouth
"You sure your okay?" Casey says as he laughs
"I would!" Maya says before she needs to vomit again
"That's it! Get it all out!" Casey says softly rubbing her back
Maya let's out a big sigh before cleaning herself up
"Have you ate anything today?" Casey asks
"No! I don't feel like anything" Maya says rubbing her stomach
"I'll make you some toast!" Casey says walking out
Maya then follows him and sits down in the common room. 5 minutes later Casey comes back with the plate and Maya eats it no bother
"That was nice! Thank you Casey!" Maya says smiling at Casey
"I'm glad you enjoyed it!" Casey says taking the plate and putting it in the sink
"You look a lot better!" Kelly says
"I mean I will except that complement! Coming from the Kelly Severide!" Maya says laughing
Maya then realises something and it makes her go even more pale
"Maya?" Kelly asks
"Umm yeah?" Maya says snapping out of it
"You okay?" Kelly asks
"Yeah I'm great! Squad 3 we're going for a ride!" Maya says as they all jump into the truck
Maya gets Tony to drive to the nearest pharmacy and she walks in. She buys a pregnancy test along with some medicine so it doesn't look suspicious to the boys. They arrive back at 51 and Maya goes straight to the bathroom making sure that Casey doesn't follow her. She pees on the stick and leaves it for 2 minutes. She looks at the test....
