It's been a week since Maya woke up and she is being discharged from the hospital. Kelly and Casey have come to pick her up
"You ready?" Casey asks putting his hand out
"I have to say I'm not gonna miss this place!" Maya says as she takes caseys hand
"There's too many bad memories connected to this place!" Kelly says as he picks up her bags
"So what's my fill in like?" Maya asks as they walk out
"He's okay! He's not you though!" Casey says smiling
"Yeah! Squad have gone soft since you've been gone! They need you back to boss them around!" Kelly says as they all laugh
"I've missed this!" Maya says smiling
"Missed what?" Casey asks looking down at her
"The three of us! We need each other okay! Promise to always have each others backs?" Maya says
"Sounds like a great plan to me!" Kelly says smiling
"Me too!" Casey says as he plants a kiss on Mayas forehead
They finally arrive home. Well they are still half way up the stairs
"Could you go any faster?" Kelly asks
"Do not rush a woman!" Maya says as Kelly smiles
"Just take your time Babe!" Casey says carefully holding her
"See too soft! No wonder truck gets away with murder!" Kelly says as Maya laughs but Casey shoots Kelly a look
"He didn't mean it honey!" Maya says looking at Casey with a smirk on her face
"Okay! Less chatting and more waking!" Kelly says
"Okay! Okay! I'm going!" Maya says smiling
Casey gets Maya comfy in her bed and she falls asleep
"It's good to have her home!" Casey says as they stand at the doorway and admire Maya
"It really is! She is a fighter!" Kelly says as they close the door and walk into the kitchen
"Beer?" Casey says as Kelly nods
They both pop open their beers and take a drink
"How do you always land the good ones?" Kelly asks
"What do you mean?" Casey says before taking a sip
"You've been so lucky in love! First Gabby then Maya!" Kelly says
"Your Maya is out there! Trust me!" Casey says as he shoots kelly a reassuring look
Over the next few days Maya starts physio therapy and starts to get some strength back. The doctor has cleared her to drive so she picks up some donuts and heads to the firehouse. She walks up and Kelly spots her
"Maya!" Kelly says as they all turn around
"I come baring gifts!" Maya says holding up the donuts
"I knew we liked you!" Mouch says taking the donuts and digging in
"I've missed you guys!" Maya says as they all walk in
