Jai's POV

"Jai? Earth to Jai? Yohooo!"

Napakurap ako ng ilang beses. Nawiwirduhang nakatingin si Joy–este si Akira sa'kin.

"Okay ka lang? Anxious ka bang makita siya ulit?"

Huh?

Nagde-day dream ka tanga!

Oh shiz! Hindi pa pala kami nakaalis sa bahay ni Akira. Nasa garahe pa kami.

"Ah h-hindi. Sa laboratory diba?"

"Wala na daw siya dun, nasa Strife Corp. na daw siya."

The fact that I doze off here, at nag day dream tungkol sa mangyayari sa pagkikita namin muli ni Rhegitt, is enough to make me think that I'm really anxious.

I've been rehearsing on what to say sa muli naming paghaharap. But the words I've been rehearsing suddenly vanished into thin air.

Sakay kami ng kotse ni Akira and she drove off towards where Rhegitt is now. Ngayon nasa highway na kami, I can't help but to be amazed in seeing this place with my own eyes. Ibang iba sa nakikita ko sa movies. The famous palm trees, the sign of Hollywood, and the busy streets.

"Ganyan din ang reaksiyon ko noong first time ko dito." Joy este Akira chuckled.

"So, noong araw na umalis ka sa San Mariano, ay 'yun din ang araw na pag punta mo dito?"

Tumango ito. "Kaya pala noong graduation day, nagtataka kami hindi mahina signal mo noong tumawag ka."

Parehos kaming natawa. Knowing na mahina talaga ang signal sa Pilipinas. Ilang minuto na ang lumipas, at biglang huminto si Akira sa tapat ng isang malaking building. It is a busy building kasi maraming nagsilabas pasok.

"Come on." I followed Akira inside. Once we were inside, Akira had too many people looking at her. Nako-conscious tuloy ako. Some were even bowing, I think they are the employees of this big ass building.

Akira went straight ahead to an elevator with no one lining up.
"People with big names are the only ones using this elevator, kaya walang naghihintay kanina."

Tumango nalang ako. She pressed the CEO floor button, which was in the highest floor.

It was only a matter of minutes when the elevator dinged, indicating we've reached the floor of the CEO.

We were greeted by a lone woman, she was sitting behind a desk. Sexy, maganda, at mukhang sopistikada kung tingnan.

She's probably a secretary.

"Good morning Bea, is she in?"

The woman, named Bea stood up and took a bow.

"Yes Lady Akira, she's inside but she said no one should disturb her."

"Perfect." Bea glanced up, surprise at what Akira said.

"B-but..."

"Don't worry Bea, if anything happens just say this woman's name. Her name is Jai." Akira laughed and pointed at me.

Tarantado 'to.

"Hoy, pinagsasabi mo d'yan?!"

"Chill ka nga. Pumasok ka na nga lang 'dun."

"What?"

"Ayoko namang bugahan ni Ghitt kapag nagalit siya. Mas mainam na ikaw 'yung una niyang makita." Sabi niya dahilan para irapan ko siya.

"Let's just get this over with."

Sabi ko at tumayo sa harapan ng pintoan.

I inhaled and exhaled before opening the door.
