Finding Rhegitt Strife

Harold went out of the car when he reached the coffee shop, it was filled with customers. So he went in and scanned the area.

He looked left and right, eyeing every customer his eyes reached.

"Good day Sir. Would you like to dine in or just have a take out?" A girl asked him, he was sure he saw the girl the other night.

"Oh, ikaw yung kano nung nakaraang gabi ah?" The girl said.

"Excuse me?" Harold raised his eyebrow at the girl.

"You're from last night right?" The girl asked and Harold just nod.

"I would like to dine in please. Just a cup of Americano." He said and the girl leads Harold to an empty booth.

"Here you go Sir, just wait a couple of minutes I'll bring your order." The girl said, and walked away.

Harold took his time to looked at everything that his eyes see. No sign of Rhegitt Strife.

Not far from him he noticed a waitress sitting on the chair with a customer, he overheard their conversation.

"Asan na si Ghitt?" The beautiful girl looked around but Harold didn't understand what she was saying and he thought she was looking for someone.

"Lumabas po, pero hindi na bumalik 'di ko alam ate eh." The customer said and Harold just slide it off. Not a minute later his order arrived.

"Here's your coffee Sir, enjoy." The girl said and laid the coffee down on the table.

"Thank you, uhh mind if I ask you something?" He said and looked at the girl's name tag. "Marie, uhh did you notice a female foreigner here? She has a long hair, a blonde one and she's about this tall."

Harold described Rhegitt as best as he can, but Marie shook her head. "Sorry Sir, but there's a lot of foreigner coming here and there's a lot of people with that same description. Is that the girl you showed us in the picture from the other night?"

Harold nod and he cupped his inside pocket and he showed the picture to Marie.

"Here. If you ever see any resemblance call me right away." He then handed a calling card from his back pocket.

"Sure Sir, can I keep this? Just in case of seeing her." Marie said and Harold thought for a bit.

"Alright, but please take good care of it." He said and Marie nodded with a smile. Marie left with the picture and left Harold to enjoy his coffee and thoughts.

He sipped from the cup and it bring backs memories. Now this coffee is amazing, this coffee shop is really something. But where are you Rhegitt?

Harold scanned the area again.

"Lalabas muna ako, hahanapin ko si Ghitt. Dito ka lang Jason." Harold looked at the waitress that walked towards Marie and said something.

His gaze followed the waitress until she went outside. He could see her from the booth because of the clear glass.

The waitress looked left and right, and disappeared around the corner. Harold finished his coffee and took out a bill to pay and left it on the table. He went out after waving to Marie which is at the counter.

Jai's POV

"Asan na naman yun? Bakit ba kasi bigla nalang mawawala?" Sabi ko sa sarili habang lumilinga dito sa may parking lot.

"Teka bakit ko nga ba siya hinahanap?" Napakamot ako sa ulo at humakbang papalayo sa parking lot. Pero bago paman ako makalayo may biglang humila sa braso ko.
