Rhegitt's POV

Nobody spoke a damn word. I could even hear the chirping birds outside.

Even though, I know the very first person who initiated the plan of letting me kill Don Gustav.

My grin went wider.

"If no one is going to answer my first question as the Empress, then I'll have the current bosses removed and replaced you with your candidates."

"W-what?! That's absurd!"

One stood up. It was Mr. Gonzantine, Archie's father.

"Now that you've spoken, would you like to answer my question Lord Arthur?"

I saw him swallow, I glanced at Gramps but he has no expression plastered on his face as of the moment. Basically, he can't do anything right now. He's now a mere member, the only thing they could replace me is through a vote or have me killed.

But I doubt they have the balls to do that. Gramps wouldn't let that happen, unless he wants me dead himself.

"What is it to you if you knew the one who concocted the plan of letting you kill Gustav?"

"Don Gustav was a sacrificial lamb, to let out the lion in you." Lord Pascual said, the father of Vlad.

"Yes, I know." I stood up and walked towards the center.

"But he was Lord Mikael's general. He was to inherit Lord Mikael's position."

"But he got greedy. Everything he said to me was the truth, he wanted to rule the Empire." I added.

"Now that he's dead, who's going to inherit Lord Mikael's position?" Lord Ark asked.

I pointed Akira's position.

"That, gentlemen is Lord Mikael's only granddaughter. Which means, Lord Mikael would have to step down now." I looked at the old man and he just shook his head lightly with a sly smile.

Gramps looked at his friend, giving him a nod.

"Did you forge this lie with Lord Mikael, Lady Rhegitt?" Lord Arthur asked.

"No, she presented all the proof I need to believe that I have a successor." Lord Mikael backed me up.

"Very well, I can rest assured that the Empire will be in good hands." Lord Ark said and smiled. He turned to his daughter and nod. Loretta nods back and looked at me.

"Ladies and gentlemen, join me in the new era of our Empire and trust me even the fifth generation of your kin wouldn't be hungry."

"What are your plans for the Empire, Lady Rhegitt?" Lord Kent asked. I looked at him with a mischievous grin.

"I am tired of illegal things."

"You plan to abolish the Empire?!" Lord Arthur slapped the table and all heads turned to me.

I could see Rad looked at me with worry.

"Rest easy, the flow of money will still be on going and the amounts will be higher. That's why I told you even the fifth generation of your kin won't be hungry."

"You're speaking ideals Lady Rhegitt! Easy money doesn't exist if you're doing legal shits!"

"Have you forgotten? You voted for me, you concocted the plan to let out the evil in me just to prove I could do what you do."

I tried to calm myself down, it's not the time to lose my cool. I have to finish this meeting or else they wouldn't like the show I'd display when I blow up.
