Twenty Seven

Rhegitt hurriedly got out of her car and went inside the hideout where Saminto and his friends hang out.

When she entered, Harold was already there along with their men.

Saminto and Jethro and the other boys were beaten up. Alden Villarosa on the other hand, just came in after Rhegitt.

"How did you let them took Jason?!"

"Lady Rhegitt, easy they're just kids." Alden butted in.

Rhegitt paced around the room and finally stopped on her tracks when she looked at her watch.

"Lance have you located them?"

She asked, and Lance was sitting on the old sofa with his laptop. "Yes, Lady Rhegitt. They're at the river of San Mariano. Good thing we planted trackers in each of your friends." Lance said and continued to do his magic on his laptop.

Rhegitt looked at Harold. "Plan Yankee is happening as we speak."

"The weapons?"

"They're ready."

"Alright. Time to settle this once and for all." Rhegitt said.

"Is your wound okay?" Harold worriedly asked.

"Trust me Harold, I don't feel anything right now." Rhegitt said, rage is visible in her eyes.

Because my heart sank,along with my feelings. And probably, the only way to ease this is to shoot at someone.

"Let's go."

"I'll come with you." Alden offered but Rhegitt stopped him. "If you die, no one's gonna take care of these boys. So, you better keep them safe."

Then, Rhegitt walked out without looking back. Her men followed suit, along with Harold behind her.

"You're riding with me." Rhegitt told Harold and they both got inside Rhegitt's beloved car.

"Tell me what happened." It was not a question, it was more like a command of a friend.

"I don't want to talk about it. Let's get this fucking over with." Rhegitt revved up the engines and drove like a fast and furious driver. 

"You're going to commit traffic violations."

"I don't care. I could pay for it." Rhegitt said coldly, tailing them are four cars.

Rhegitt pressed the earpiece she invented and called for Lance. "Give me the coordinates."

"Sending now." Then in a blink of an eye, the monitor in the car changed into a 3D map of the whole San Mariano.

"Can you see how many men Gustav has today?" Harold asked, pressing his earpiece.

"Negative. The river has a lot of trees, the drones can't fly in."

"Use the smaller ones damn it!" Rhegitt is clearly pissed right now.

"There are about five cars. All men are armed." Lance answered.

"Ready yourselves. We're going all out today."

Sa kabilang banda naman, si Jai Mendez ay parang binuhusan ng malamig na tubig sa nasaksihan.

"Sundan natin siya." Sabi niya sa kababata.

"Ha? Bakit? Kilala mo ba 'yun?"

"Basta! H'wag na maraming tanong." Agad naman silang pumasok sa kotse ng binatilyo.
