Twenty Three

Rhegitt's POV

"Where is he?" I immediately asked Harold when I got out of the car. We're all at the abandoned warehouse that serves as a hideout to Saminto's gang.

"He's in the office together with the two boys." Harold said and I walked past him. I didn't expect to see Rad here. I thought he was still pestering Cass.

After the outing I knew both of them talked about their past. And from that point, Rad keeps pestering Casey. I think his playboy attitude went off when he saw Cassey again.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Well, I think I needed to be here. Benjamin personally messaged me to meet with Harold." He said and we both went inside the office.

Revealing the three figures of men. I quickly took a seat on the swivel chair. Harold stood behind me and Rad took a seat in one of the single couch inside the office.

"You're Alden Villarosa?" I asked without beating under the bush. He nods and the two boys stood behind his seat. They were his trusted men in the gang after all.

"Can you tell me what happened?" I asked him. There are still bruises and healing wounds all over his body. He still got a bruised on his face. Poor guy.

"The Strife familia found me first and they beat the shit out of me to gain information about your whereabouts." He said without any emotions.

"I apologize to what they did to you."

"Lady Rhegitt, Alden Villarosa was treated in one of Lord Kensington's hospital. But they were ambushed and the enemy took Villarosa."
Harold said.

"Who were they?" I looked at Villarosa, pain and fear was still etched on his bruised face.

"Don't worry, I assure your safety."

"It's not my safety I'm worried about. They're declaring war on your familia. I'm pretty sure they were your enemies dressed as allies."

"Believe me, I know. There are a lot of wolves hiding in the sheep's skin in my flock." I told him. I signaled Harold to let show him the picture.

"Is this the man who took you?" He asked Villarosa.

The latter looked at the picture, carefully examining it. "Yes."

"Damn it!" I muttered. Rad stood up and looked at the picture too.

"He's one of the four generals of the Lavigne right?" He asked looking at me and Harold.

"So, the Lavigne is behind all this ruckus happening in the familia right now?" Rad was getting mad by this revelation.

"If you put it that way Lord Rad, that's basically right." Harold said.

"What are we waiting for? We know who's behind this! Let's fight back!" Rad turned to me.

"No." I said and they were all surprised by my answer.

The two boys kept silent but I know they're also thinking why I said that. "The Lavigne are just merely blinded by lies. They don't know that one of their generals has turned against them." I told them.

"How do you know that? Maybe that's what they want us to think." Rad said.

"I have my secret card hidden, but I think I might used it sooner than I expected."

"What is it Rhegitt? Tell us!" Rad was eager to know.

"Lord Rad, if something is in Lady Rhegitt's mind. I suggest that we trust her." I smirked mentally. Harold really know me that well, huh.
