Rhegitt's POV

I looked on the mirror inside the yacht when I finished getting dress. I only wore a white polo shirt and a black jeans.

I'm not really a fan of dressing up for formal dinners. Besides, I wasn't in a business deal dinner. I am with my friends and with Jai. Dressing formally like how I usually do won't really change a thing.

Besides we're at the beach. Dressing formally like wearing gowns and tux won't be appropriate. That will have to wait.

With that thought, I imagined myself and my friends wearing those kind of clothes during a wedding. But who's wedding?

Jai's precious smile flashed in my head suddenly. I chuckled when I realized that.

"Hey, everyone's ready." I heard Harold knocked from the outside of the room.

"I'm coming." I answered.

With a final glance on the mirror. I opened the door and it revealed my friend. He's wearing an all white attire.

He looked like a tourist having a vacation at the Caribbean islands.

"With your surprise for Miss Jai Mendez and her family, feels like your asking her hand for marriage." Harold said while we head our way to the speed boat.

I turned at him, surprised by what he's thinking. "Don't be absurd!" I said.

I only got a chuckle as a response from my friend. We boarded the speed boat and Harold drove it.

"Does this feels like asking her for marriage?" I asked my friend again.

But Harold just shut me out by laughing.

When we reached the island everyone was inside the huge tent with dinner tables inside.

There was a mini stage for the resort's band to play for this dinner. Of course, everything was prepared for this.

This was only the first day and I hope nothing would crashed this moment. Or else, those who crash this party will never see daylight again.

Before Harold and I went in, Polo reported first that back up has arrived. Every men in the Strife familia was on their post, in order to secure everything and prevent the worst case scenario at all cost.

After that, Harold and I went inside the huge tent and saw everyone happily chatting with each other. This really felt like an engagement party to me. Thanks to Harold for giving me that idea. Note the sarcasm.

"I'll just check up on Lance." Harold said and went towards the young man.

I saw Saminto and his friends seated and occupied three tables.

From the other side were Jai's friends, who also happens to be the employees of the coffee shop occupied one table. Next to them were Jai and her family.

I walked towards the Mendez family's table, flashing a smile.

"Hi." I greeted.

Tita Marites and the two younger sisters of Jai flashed a wide smile at me. While their brother just nod at me.

"Ghitt! Napaka bongga naman ng hapunan na hinanda ninyo."

Tita Marites said, glancing at everything that was prepared for them.

There was a table full of food set on the left side part of the huge tent, in case if the guys wanted more.
There were only five waiters serving the drinks for all of us.
