The Plan

I walked outside. This was the worst plan ever. The less people would know, the best it would go. So only Newt and I knew about it. Gally called a gathering and we all gathered around him. Newt touched his neck and that was my sign. He was sitting next to me with his arm around me. "You know what Newt just fuck off, go sit somewhere else," I said trying not to breakdown. "what's wrong with you all of the sudden?" I looked at him "you're just annoying and it's your fault Alby is dead, you could've done something" I was shocked by my own words. "Addi calm down," Minho said confused. Everyone was staring at Newt and me. I stood up. "Your a horrible boyfriend Newt" he stood up as well."if you think so, were over, I never loved you anyways. I just needed a girl, and you were the only one. You really thought I gave a shit about you" I went silent. I know he didn't mean to, but the words hit me hard. "I should've chosen Gally in the first place, your awful" Gally looked at me."the gathering will be an hour later," he said while he walked towards me. Newt left and so did the others. Gally and I stayed. "Sit down and tell me what happened" I looked him in the eyes and sat down."I just can't take it anymore with Newt, he's horrible. I made a mistake choosing him" Gally grabbed my hand. "he is not worth your tears, come with me then we will clean you up" I walked with him and saw Newt looking at us from a distance. I felt so bad doing this.

After an hour we all gathered again. The difference was that I was sitting next to Gally right now. With his arm around my shoulder. I laid my head on his shoulder. The plan was working but I hoped it would all be over soon. "I'm taking the lead because Alby died, this is all Thomas his fault. If he didn't open that gate then our lives would be the same right now. Because we had a great time here, didn't we?"the most people nodded. I saw Minho looking at me with disapproval. "Maybe if we banish Thomas and Teresa the grievers will leave us alone. So you can decide, be banished with them, or join me and Addison" everyone walked towards us. I already expected that. "Throw Teresa and Thomas in the pit. The banishing will be tomorrow" I looked up. I hope Newt thought all this through. Minho walked towards me. "Addison what the fuck are you doing" Gally stood up. "don't talk to her like that, or would like to be banished with Thomas and Teresa huh?" Minho shook his head. "betrayer" I walked away. Everyone must hate me now. Gally walked almost immediately behind me. "Hey, look at me. It's going to be okay. They will understand you chose for the right person now" I looked in Gally's eyes. "yes I did" our heads got closer and I closed my eyes. I hoped Newt wasn't looking. I felt Gally his lips against mine. I kissed him back and heard people whisper. I knew the plan was working but this fast?

POV Newt:

I was standing behind a tree, looking at Gally leaving with my girlfriend. What if she would catch feelings for him. I tried not to think about it and went to Minho. "What the hell is she doing," Minho said while I arrived. "I don't want to talk about it," Minho looked at me and grabbed my shoulder."uh, lets uh, drink something to uh... get our minds on different things" I looked at him. "why are you acting like this" just before he could say anything Chuck arrived."Newt, Newt, Addison is kissing Gally'' Minho gave Chuck a hit against his head. I looked behind me and saw Addison kissing Gally, it wasn't just a kiss, she was going full in. I turned around and ran towards the forest. I couldn't stand seeing them like that. I sat down in the grass. Burying my head in my hands. This was the most stupid plan ever. I couldn't help it, but I cried. Afraid I lost her.

POV Addison:

After I had kissed Gally, I looked at the group of Minho, Chuck, Frypan and Newt. I saw Newt running away. I felt so bad and wanted to run after him but I couldn't fuck up the plan now. I hope he was okay. I smiled at Gally. "I'm going to sleep okay love?" I said. He looked at me. "sleep with me in the grass, then we can watch the stars," I hesitated. That was what Newt and I did if one of us couldn't sleep. I agreed, and we walked towards the grass. I laid down in his arms and tried to sleep. Maybe Gally wasn't that bad after all.

When I woke up Gally was already up. He was looking at me and stroking my hair. He gave me a kiss, and we went to eat something. I looked at Newt. He touched his neck again. That meant the others knew about the plan. I was somewhat relieved. I at something and went with Gally to the doors just like the others. Two people dragged Thomas and Teresa in. A large pole was standing in the middle. "This isn't a normal banishing. It's an offer. I won't let Thomas in the maze again, look what he already did," Gally said while he commanded to tie Teresa up. "Addi, for you the honor to tie up Thomas"He kissed me and gave me a rope. I looked at Newt. He touched his neck, the last sign. I took a deep breath. "now!" I yelled while Minho threw a machete. I caught it and put it on Gally's shoulder. The others freed Teresa and Thomas. "Addi, your serious? You betrayed me?"I looked at Gally."I'm sorry I had to," he looked at me. "love, Newt is playing with your mind" I started tearing up. Gally was a friend and betraying him like this hurted. Newt walked towards me. "don't listen to him anymore Addi, I'm proud of you."
