I followed Thomas inside. "he was not in the train, which means he is still at WICKED. I heard Aris talk about The Last City. That's where they take them. And I know you want to free Minho as well. So please, come with me and then we will find him" I looked up. "Thomas, we are just starting a new life again and then..." before I could finish he interrupted me. "you don't have to, but I am going" I looked at him and hesitated."Fine, when are we leaving?"I said while I sighed. He smiled. "tonight, no one can know. We will be back in a few days" I looked at him. "around 8 your standing here," I said while I walked upstairs. I walked to my room. I grabbed a bag and did some stuff in it. I laid the bag in the closet and went down. We gathered and ate something. "so, in around 2 days the ship will be done, then we leave," Vince said. I almost choked in my food. I looked at Thomas. "2 days?" he asked with a worried face. "Maybe more," Vince said. I looked up. "I'm done eating, I need to do something upstairs," I said while I left the room. I heard Newt coming behind me. "what's wrong?" he said while he grabbed my arm. "Just a headache, don't worry baby," I said while I kissed him. He left again and I laid down. Would Vince leave without us? I thought by myself. A quarter for eight I stood up and walked down. I took a deep breath and walked outside. Thomas was already standing there. We walked to the garage where the car was standing. Suddenly we heard a voice.

"where do you think you're going?" Newt said while he turned on the light. I looked at Thomas. "Newt..." Thomas said while he sighed. "don't be a twat about it. I'm already in. Come on," I laughed and walked behind Newt. Thomas smiled as well. We followed him to the car. He stopped. "We need all the help we can get," Newt said while he opened the car door. Frypan was sitting in the car. He looked at us and smiled. "we are a group of five, and we miss someone, so we are going to get him" Frypan said with a smile. We all stepped in the car and we left.

We were riding all night. We switched who drove every hour so we could all get some sleep. Eventually, it was daytime. I was driving and the others were sleeping. I smiled. After we get Minho, everything would be okay again. I looked at the map next to me and took a left. A sign was standing above the road: "Mandatory infection check 2 miles ahead" I looked at it. It didn't sound good, but I drove further. We arrived at a tunnel. "guys wake up," I said while suddenly I stopped so they would wake up. They looked at me. "what was that good for" Frypan asked while he looked at me. I laughed. "enough sleeping," I said. Newt looked at me. "do I need to drive love?" I shook my head. "it's fine" Frypan looked at the tunnel ahead of us."we need to go in there?"Newt said. Frypan shook his head. "if I was a crank, I would hide there" I looked at it. The tunnel was completely dark. "we have to," I said while I drove forward.

"behind this is the City," I said while I drove through the tunnel. I turned on the lights from the car. "just take it nice and slow" Newt said. I nodded and slowed down a bit. A lot of cars were standing in the tunnel as well. Suddenly Thomas yelled. "whoa! Whoa! Wait!"I stopped. He pointed at a crank. "It's okay, it's just one," I said. "I'll take it slow, and I'll go around him" I drove forward again. Suddenly a woman was standing next to the car. "please," she said while she knocked on the window. Another crank appeared on the other side. More and more were gathering around the car. "Addison go!" Newt yelled. I gave some gas and drove away quickly. One jumped on the front window. "I can't see anything," I yelled while I tried to get it off. He hit the window and it started to break. Suddenly I turned left so he fell off. I looked back and laughed. "Addi look out!" Thomas yelled. In front of us there was only a ramp. I looked behind me. "I need to go over," I said. Frypan looked at me. "are you crazy?" I grabbed the steering wheel with two hands. "yes"

I gave gas and drove over it as fast as I could. I couldn't see what was behind it. The car flew but hit something on the right. It turned on its side and landed like upside down. It was a hard thwack. "is everyone okay" Newt yelled while he helped me to get out."yea" I heard Frypan and Thomas say. I saw Cranks coming over the ramp. "guys we have to go, Run!" I yelled. Frypan went back to the car and tried to find something. "Frypan come on!" Thomas yelled. Suddenly he got out of the car and shot a crank with a gun. "Good one," Newt yelled. We wanted to run to the other side but cranks appeared there as well. "fuck, what do we do now," I yelled while the cranks came closer. "we fight," Thomas said. I grabbed a pole just like Newt and Thomas. We tried to hit as many as possible while Frypan tried to shoot. "there are to much," I yelled while three cranks ran towards me. They pushed me down. "help!" I yelled while I tried to avoid there nails and teeth. Newt swinged them off of me and helped me up. "We won't make this," Frypan said."I'm out of ammo."
