MR Series: Sunflower

This takes place after oneshot 'Darkness'

Flashback starts

The two lovebirds walked quietly hand in hand. Their bodies were embraced by the cold yet friendly breeze, walking around a land filled with a diversity of beautiful and colorful flowers.

"Chaeng, I...I'm so sorry......" Mina started the conversation in the silence suddenly, her hand still squeezing Chaeyoung's soft and warm one.

"W-whoa whoa whoa, what's with the sudden apology, Minari?" Chaeyoung asked with blinking eyes as she was staring at her lover with confused eyes. Mina tried to hide her teary eyes, and immediately leaned her forehead against her lover's shoulder.

"My parents are too mean to you, Chae, I can't bear to see them treat you like that. I want them to understand that I really want to be with you. I promised your sister Nayeon unnie that I will stay with you no matter what circumstance." said Mina in her silent sobs, tightening their intertwined hands. Listening to her lover's sobs was very painful for her fragile heart, and Chaeyoung only gazed at Mina with a small smile before hugging her tightly.

Chaeyoung then let go of their hug which confused Mina and took a flower that was a bit different from the others. She picked it up, inhaled its sweet scent and showed it to Mina.

"This is my favorite flower, sunflower, you know why?" Chaeyoung asked, receiving a small shake from Mina. "This flower symbolizes undying loyalty and sincerity. This flower represents my will to never leave you, and that I will always be by your side no matter what."

Not long after, Mina who heard her immediately bursted into tears, letting out her pent up emotions as she hugged Chaeyoung again. The younger girl returned her lover's hug and they then united their lips amidst the crowd of flowers, before continuing their hug again. "Sunflowers are now my favorite too." Mina laughed in their warm everlasting embrace

Flashback ends

"Gah!"

'Scent' Mina instantly woke up from her unconsciousness that had been going on for unknown time. Her heart was beating fast and strong, and she looked around gerself. She was still in Universe 473, the Universe she visited earlier before she engaged in a brutal beating up session with Chaeyoung of Universe 304.

"W-was that a dream? Or....w-was it the memories of Chaeyoung from ealier?" Mina muttered to herself. She coughed out blood intensely as the red liquid stained the winter-coated ground she was lying on earlier. She had to get up, she knew she had to go after that Chaeyoung or else she would hurt the other Chaeyoung Mina loved amd complete her goal in killing all Minas. The Japanese immediately wiped the blood soaking her face with her jacket and tried her hardest to stand up.

She again coughed blood out of her mouth from the incessant blows 'Devil' Chaeyoung landed on her earlier. Her face was battered, her nose slightly broken, her lips harshly brusied with blood, but even though she was brutally wounded, she was determined to stand up and fight. Her goal now was to save her lover Chaeyoung of Universe 547 from the threat of 'Devil' Chaeyoung who was now coming for her.

Mina clenched her fists, closing her eyes tightly to focus her strength. She groaned a bit as her knees trembled from the pain, trying her best to ignore the blood leaking out of her mouth. She gritted her teeth, all her focus was put onto Chaeyoung's safety. Shortly after, she immediately disappeared, and arrived in Universe 547 ready to look for her lover.

Mina immediately disappeared again and arrived at Chaeyoung's apartment, but to her surprise, the appearance in front of Mina made her widen her eyes.
