Continuation of Stuck
Genre: Fluff

Mina had just come home from her exhausting work, and then she took off her jacket as she lightly threw it onto her couch, unbuttoning her shirt unfinishedly and then she rubbed her sleepy eyes, looking almost like a panda. She let out a long yawn like a lioness about to sleep with her mate. Strange, she swore she had switched off all the lights inside her house, but when she returned, they were switched on without her knowing.

"Eh? Since when did I leave the house with the lights on?" she mumbled to herself in confusion and scratched her head. "Hello? Is anyone home?" she asked with her voice slightly raised since she spoke soft.

Suddenly, she heard noises from the kitchen, and gasped in surprise. She saw the umbrella beside her on the left, resting against the wall like it was a weapon hidden in secret about to be used by the warrior, and immediately grabbed the umbrella as she used it as a defense material. She took a deep breath and continued walking as she heard more noises of metals clanking and plates being dragged.

Her heartbeats grew restless and her hands slightly shook, but she had no time for that, since why the hell would she be afraid if it's her house? The grip around the umbrella handle grew tightened, and her breaths were back to steady in no time. She raised the umbrella upwards slowly while trying to protect her face, and immediately entered the kitchen quietly.

"Is anyone there? Don't make me use this. I know self-defense mechanism." she sternly said although it sounded too soft to be even considered a threat. She cleared her throat, the noises becoming louder and louder. "I said I know how to use this, so come on out right now." she commanded.

The sounds had grown into complete silence, which somehow startled although she did wish for them to stop. She gulped and held her 'weapon' tightly before suddenly a figure launched out behind the kitchen counter.

"Tada!"

Mina half-screamed and widened her eyes in surprise as the person in front of her startled the girl.

"Chaeyoungie, God you shocked me. If I had a heart attack I'm gonna kill you!"

Chaeyoung tilted her head innocently and furrowed her eyebrows.

"If I gave you a heart attack and you die, how can you kill me?" she blinked her eyes. Mina was about to open her mouth, yet nothing came out of her mouth.

"T-that....ah forget it. Why would you surprise me all of a sudden anyway?" Mina chuckled as the two girlfriends hugged each other while walking themselves out of the kitchen.

"I've got something for you, pengu. Now close your eyes." Chaeyoung smiled showing her deep dimples that Mina wanted to poke. "Close your eyes." she repeated while grinning. Mina found the order odd and nodded anyways.

"A-ah okay then...." she said in suspicion and did as she was told. Once Chaeyoung had made sure Mina had fully closed her eyes, she grabbed something and wrapped it around her eyes.

"Chaeyoung, w-what are you doing and where are you taking me?" Mina breathed out as her eyes were covered by a piece of cloth, blocking her entire field of vision. Chaeyoung only responded with small giggles and held her shoulders from the back to guide her girlfriend. She indeed had something in her mind planned for the dearest penguin.

"I'll take it off when we get there, Minari, just calm down. It's not like I'm a criminal." she kissed the back of her neck and walked in front of Mina, holding her left hand with her right hand as she guided her lover to her destinated place.

Once they had finally arrived, Chaeyoung slowly took off the cloth off Mina's eyes and held her shoulders firmly. They were at their living room, and it was decorated with many lights hung on the walls and many different types of flowers scattered around, giving some Hawaiian vibes to the place although they were clearly in Seoul. Mina gasped in amazement and eyed around the room that had been perfectly and flawlessly decorated by her lover. It truly looked like a timeless masterpiece.

"Wah sugoi~" she wowed and clapped her hands. "You really outdid yourself Chaengie." Mina praised and gave a peck on the girl's cheeks. "You really shouldn't overwork yourself though, dear. I don't want you to get tired, you know." she pouted and hugged her from the back.

"Gomawo Minari, but that's not the real surprise." Chaeyoung giggled and tiptoed towards the bonfire. Above it was a curtain covering something Chaeyoung prepared; the cherry on top of the cake. She grinned and pulled the curtain down before she put it on the floor.

The sight in front truly captivated the japanese girl's eyes. It was a big banner with the line 'Will you be my wife, Penguin?'. Mina cupped her cheeks as tears of joy were formed and streamed down her face. She smiled in pure joy and hugged Chaeyoung tightly with love.

"H-how is it?" Chaeyoung was nervous about it, though, because she too knew she was about to ask a life-changing question. "Do you like it?"

"I.....I love it so much, dear. It's the best banner I've ever seen." Mina cried and hugged her again. "Y-you planned all of this?" she blinked her eyes with tears. Chaeyoung nodded and held her hands as she kneeled down in front of her. This is it, Mina thought. It's the moment they two had been waiting for their whole life as a couple. It was indeed time to take things a step ahead.

"Myoui Mina, the penguin, the black swan, my Minari. I've truly cherished our six years as girlfriends, and when you  first became mine, you showed me what love actually is, what happiness means. You show me there is always good in everything. You always tell me to not ever give up on anything, and I will never give up on you, love." Chaeyoung smiled and continued again. "I will always harbor this moment for eternity and this life I have with you will always be my most precious memory. I would cross bridges if it means being with you forever. You're the cherry on top of my cake, and you're the sugar to my tea. You complete the missing puzzle piece in me, and I will complete yours too. I know we are meant to be together, Minari, in this life or another. And now, I'm prepared to take things further with you, if it means we'll be strong enough to face more challenges, more obstacles, and more downs. Will you take this ring and be my soulmate for life?" Chaeyoung opened her left hand, revealing a gold ring on her palm.

Mina cried in happiness and nodded while Chaeyoung put the ring on her finger. After she did it, Mina pulled her in for a hug, thanking God up there for giving her someone so lovable and sweet like Chaeyoung. She was so grateful to find someone like her truly. They then kissed passionately under the stars with the moonlight glooming. It was as if the Universe was also celebrating their engagement, and shone brighter than ever before.

The penguin and the tiger finally got what they wanted.
