Continuation of Ever
Genre: AngstMina's P.O.V
Ever since Chaeyoung died, I became more and more distant with the other girls and boys at school, I dunno why. I just....felt ill after I saw her lying in her bathtub in her apartment....dead. Until now, the guilt just keeps on haunting me. The images of her lifeless body and her crooked smile still come to terrify my mind.I should have noticed her love. I shouldn't have taken it for granted. Now....I have to bear living the rest of my life accepting the burden that I was the cause of her death. Huh, why should I be scared. It's my punishment anyway. I'm so sorry, Chaeyoungie. I'm so sorry to know the fact that you died a broken-hearted person, that you died with no one loving you. I'm deeply sorry.
I hope you forgive me up there.
After I called the cops, they investigated her whole room, and they confirmed that she committed suicide. She really died a broken heart, and I was the reason.
I become more and more quiet these days at school, and everyone has always asked me why. I hate the fact that not everyone except the girls cared about Chaeyoung, and so when the school heard about the news that she's dead, only the teachers and our class held the funeral for her.
I have been avoiding Jeongyeon too lately......I also don't know why..... I-I just don't want her to know that I'm just a heartless monster who has cause someone's death, an evil whore who was too blind to notice someone's worth. I feel so bad for her. She's my girlfriend. I should have probably given more time to her rather than just being stuck here like a depressed human.
I'm so sorry too, Jeongyeon ah. I didn't mean to be so distant to you...

Jeongyeon too, felt the distance between her and Mina these past few days. It had been a month after Chaeyoung ended her life, and even she herself was extremely devastated the moment she received the news about her best friend's sudden death. It broke her mentally and emotionally into tiny pieces, like a glass thrown into the floor until it separated into shattered fragments.
She just didn't understand why Mina had become so quiet and uninviting to the others at school. She even looked really pale like she suffered from a terrible sickness. It actually hurt her heart knowing that Mina used to be so clingy to her. She really had to confront her. She had to know what's wrong with her.

It was dismissal time after school, and Jeongyeon instantly did what she was planning to do; searching for her girlfriend. Mina had immediately left earlier when the last lesson had ended, and so Jeongyeon had no idea where she had gone to.
"Jihyo ssi, have you seen Mina?" she asked the younger girl. Jihyo only shook her head and shrugged.
"No idea, try looking for her in the hallways. She's probably wandering around herself there." she suggested. Jeongyeon nodded and thanked her as she stormed off while looking for the japanese girl.
"Mina! Mina! Where are you?" she called for her name, but unfortunately her efforts came to no avail as there wasn't any single response she wished she would hear. The students passing by and walking were too many, their chatters so loud she couldn't hear anything else.
Just then, she spotted a familiar figure who was walking with her back facing against her. She instantly knew who it was from her hair. Mina. She smiled subconsciously and hurriedly went up to her.
"Mina!" she grabbed her shoulder softly enough to attract the girl's attention. Mina closed her eyes tightly, hoping she wouldn't have to be stuck in this situation, and didn't bother turning back. "Mina, why are you ignoring me?" Jeongyeon frowned and softened the grip on her shoulder not to hurt her.
"J-Jeongyeon yah, I have to go now. Please go home." she said quietly while still looking down. Jeongyeon shook her head.
"Mina, please stay. Let's talk about this. W-we can talk this out right?" Jeongyeon desperately pleaded with a cracky tone. Mina sighed, tears threatening to escape her eyes. She clenched her fists and breathed out quietly, trying to compose herself.
"T-there's nothing to talk about between us....J-Jeongyeon.." she said coldly. Jeongyeon shook her head again and immediately hugged her from the back. Mina felt her warmth radiating from her and felt really comfortable with it, but she didn't want Jeongyeon too to suffer the same fate as Chaeyoung did.
"You're scared, Mina....I can feel it. It's okay. We can talk things out as girlfriends.....or even as friends..." she calmed her down and kissed her cheek. Mina tried not to cry and turned her face to her girlfriend, staring right into her eyes. Jeongyeon was quite startled and blinked several times at her sudden action. "M-Mina wha-"
"Let's break up, Jeongie."
