"So that's why, Chaengie. That's why." Mina smiled painfully, watching her first love and her first heartbreak at the same time enjoying her moment of her life with someone else. She knew she couldn't recreate their lovely history anymore. She knew she couldn't alter reality. The only things she could replay in her mind were their history and her memories.

"God I wish I believed you when you told me this was my home."

While Chaeyoung was walking together with her new girlfriend, enjoying every moment of her new life with her happy choice, a strange and uninvited feeling invaded her heart, suddenly giving her some weird mood. She felt, dumbfounded, and agonized. Chaeyoung reflexively turned her head around in any direction she could. There's this feeling like someone had been calling on her, someone she felt familiar, like she was called by a spirit to a certain place, but she failed to comprehend it, somehow. She sighed in disappointment before she was nudged on her elbow by the girl beside her, standing blankly while wearing her brown coat.

"What's the matter? You look.....bothered.." her girlfriend trailed off sadly while looking at her, worried that Chaeyoung's mind might be occupied by someone else. She gripped on Chaeyoung's shirt softly, calmly yet impatiently awaiting her answer.

Her reckless girlfriend seemed to be postponing her question, as she continued looking around here and there, but when she finally stopped in her defeat, Chaeyoung looked back at her and shook her head while giving her an easing smile, putting her worries at ease all at once.

"A-aniya, I just thought I heard sounds." she managed to form an uncertain smile. Her girlfriend still remained startled from her seemingly not convincing answer, so she lightly chuckled and put a gentle and loving kiss on her nose, triggering her shyness. "Seriously, I'm fine, Tzuyu-ah." she added, before taking the girl's left hand, holding it soothingly. Chaeyoung smiled and squeezed Tzuyu's hand gently, assuring her that there were no dangers to be worried of. She grinned and captured her lips, surprising the girl, earning a full red blush from her.

"Yah, stop kissing me suddenly when I least expect it, it-it's embarrassing." Tzuyu covered her blushing face with her right hand, melting from the older girl's sudden yet pleasing gesture. She hid her face and looked away from the girl, too shy to show herself, which only earned a small chuckle from her.

"I know you like it though." Chaeyoung smiled cheekily and gave a small peck on her left cheek which was still blushing, causing her face to redden even more. She then proceeded to bury her face in the crook of Tzuyu's neck, seeking comfort and warmth there. "I know you like it." she repeated against her neck in a soft whispering tone. Tzuyu gave her a silent smile that went unnoticed, and moved her body closer to the shorter girl. "You know I love you, Tzuyu-ah, and I know you love me too." she snuggled her face closer to her neck, inhaling her relaxing scent while smiling brightly.

"Arasseo arasseo, we both know we love each other." Tzuyu smiled warmly and kissed Chaeyoung's right hand that was holding her left one smoothly. They smiled at each other and captured their lips for one more time, cherishing each and every moment of theirs, and it could be said that Chaeyoung made a promise with Tzuyu at a cost of her own promise with someone else.

Mina, on the other hand, broken and shattered, could only witness the dreadful scene unfolding in front of her very own eyes, her poor, innocent, and already very weak soul even more weakened and threatened by fate itself. The memories of the both of them began replaying like a old and rusty music box being wound up with no listener at all, a demising lullaby to be sang for a child to scream. Her face turned grim and dark for seconds, but as she continued to witness the joyous couple even more, her weak yet unstable rage seemed to soothe down and ease itself, slowly transitioning into a cracked and abused aura.
