~ Break From Toronto - PartyNextDoor ~
❤︎"Why're you quiet?" Tag asks, nudging my shoulder.
"I'm in a bad mood," I admit.
"Why?" Maya asks.
"Is it about yesterday?" Ajax questions.
"Wouldn't you like to know," I smile fakely at him.
"Miss your drugs?" Heath teases. I glare at him. I look back down to the food in front of me. Sad looking food just makes me even more depressed.
"You guys ready for exams soon?" Maya asks. I shrug while everyone else projects their voice to respond. Halfway through the conversation I get up and walk out.
Fortunately no one follows me. As soon as the bell rings I head to biology. I sit in the back next to Heath who's already seated. "What's up with you?" He asks, noticing my mood.
"Nothing just peachy. Like a peach smoothie," I mumble.
"Talk to me," he says softly.
I raise my hand high in the air. The teacher nods at me. "Washroom?" I ask. She nods again. I get up and walk out.
"Prys!" I hear from behind. I look back watching Heath jog to catch up with me. I cross my arms and keep my head down. I should've just skipped today. I hate feeling like this and not even knowing why.
Then it makes me a bitch to everyone I actually care about. "What's wrong?" He asks. I shrug. He grabs my hand forcing me to face him. His eyes look over my face, a concerned expression taking up his.
"Heath, let go," I tell him.
"No."
"Heath, I'm just having a bad day. Please," I say softly. His let's go of my hand and I take a step back putting space between us.
"We can skip?" He suggests.
"Thanks."
❤︎
I stare at the muffin in front of me. But I'm not hungry. I pick up my coffee instead and drink it. "What time is it?" I ask Heath. He picks up his phone and checks the time.
"Almost third period. You going?" He asks.
"No. You can go, I think I'll just stay here," I say softly.
He leans back into the booth comfortably. "Free period. I'll stay with you." I nod going back to my coffee. "You take anything today?"
I look back up at Heath. "None actually," I admit. Mainly because I'm almost out.
"What about the prescription you got. The antipsychotics, take those yet?" He asks. I shake my head. I don't want them.
"I'm not taking that. It's stupid. I don't have BPD or whatever they think I do. I'm just fine," I tell him.
"Pry-"
"Nope. Don't say anything. Can we just sit in silence?" I ask. He nods and picks up his coffee.
❤︎
Finally a free period. I head straight to my room. I begin searching through my stash until I hear a knock at my door. I close back the safe and head to my door. I open it only to see Ajax.
"What's up A?" I ask, walking to my bed. I crawl into it and sit up against the wall. My feet hanging off the edge.
He jumps onto my bed taking a seat next to me. "Just checking on you. How're you feeling?" He asks me.
