"Happy New Year's Eve Jade! Call your babysitter, nanny or whatever. We are having a girls night," I declare while searching through my closet. I toss around a bunch of dresses and skirts around my room.

"Sure! Where are we heading?"

I pick up a purple dress before tossing it over my head. "The club. I need a sugar daddy," I sigh. I hear Jade laugh through the other end.

"You're loaded. What would you need a sugar daddy for?" She laughs.

I pick out a short, dark crimson, red dress. Lots of cleavage, lots of skin. Perfect. "Don't judge me. Or just a hot rich dude who can take me to the Bahamas and never look back," I begin taking off by towel.

I slide on undergarments before the dress. "You have Heath," she points out. I roll my eyes.

"That's a no go. I am not right for him. He doesn't need some broken, drug addict, disgusting person. He's smart and everything. He's really changed," I tell Jade over the phone.

I hear Jade sigh over the other end. "Prys you aren't any of those things. You can't keep blaming yourself," she says softly. I can hear the sincere and pity in her voice. I hate pity.

"Yeah, yeah. Leaving now, pick you up in ten!" I hang up and toss my phone into my purse. Heath and Sam went back to their parents house. Penn is out with friends and Peyton is discussing my punishment with my parents. Why does she get a say? Good question.

"You brought the freaking limo!" Jade exclaims sliding in the car. She's wearing a dark midnight blue dress and looks hot.

"God, my wifey is incredibly hot," I pull her in a hug. She hugs back. "Right back at you wife. What are you doing wearing that dress," she says, pulling on my thin straps.

She sits next to me. "Mmm looking for fun and free drinks tonight," I smirk. "But I need to tell you something first." I explain to Jade everything.

From the shit that's happened between Heath and I, the drug testing and Penn and Peyton hating him. Her jaw drops. "You like Heath. Just admit it and stop the I don't date bullshit!" She squeals.

The limo comes to a full stop and we walk out. "No I don't. I'll prove it to you. I'll hook up with a guy tonight," I tell her. We walk past the line and around back.

"Babe me and you both know that's not happening. You can't eve-"

"I know Jade. Damn, you don't have to say it out loud. I just need to learn to relax. I'll do it," I knock on a metal door. It opens and I hand a man two hundred dollar bills.

He opens the door wider letting us in. Jade and I walk past the man and into the club. Music is blaring, lights are flashing and the smell of alcohol lingers in the air.

Jade and I link elbows walking to the bar. We take a seat at the stool. "Whiskey neat kind sir," I smile up at the bartender. He nods and begins making my drink.

Jade orders a cocktail. "Alright which guy in here is hot enough to bang?" I ask her while looking around.

"I'm not giving you ideas. You should try and cut the drugs out and focus more on school. Prys you're really smart and you shouldn't let th-" I give Jade a stern look daring her to say it. "Sorry. You shouldn't let one thing ruin you. You're giving it power. You have a whole future ahead of you."

I swallow back my drink. Whiskey, super easy to get drunk off. "I'm not giving it power. Doing what I want is taking back control. Plus school can come later."
