"Thanks Lukeee. Gosh, I barely slept last night," I mumble, taking my coffee from Luke. He hands everyone else their order before walking off.

"Why not?" Maya asks.

I reach into my bag. "Uhhh, I don't know. My mind just doesn't shut up sometimes," I laugh awkwardly. My hand grasps a small plastic bag which I pull out revealing three pills.

"What're those?" Levi asks.

I take the lid off my coffee. "Just adderall. Want one?" I ask before swallowing two. The bag is snatched from my hands but not by Levi.

By Heath. Ajax, Heath and Tag all take a seat in our booth across from us. I roll my eyes. It's too late now anyways. "That's the leftover one. I wanted it," Maya says. Heath tosses it to her.

"So you'll let Maya take adderall but not me?" I question.

"Maya's not an addict," Ajax states.

"Neither am I!" I exclaim.

"Prystyne when's the last time you went a day without popping a pill, smoking a joint or taking a sip of alcohol," Tag asks. What does he care? I shrug in response.

"When?" Heath asks.

"Uhhh, the sobriety challenge," I mumble slowly trying to remember. "But by choice. If I really wanted to stop, I would."

Heath raises a brow in question. "Then why don't you?" Levi asks.

"I don't see how the fuck it's any of any of your guys business," I snap. I'm tired of them asking me the same question over and over.

I place my face in my hands and groan in annoyance. "Sorry I didn't mean to snap at you guys. Just leave it alone, yeah?" I ask looking up at everyone.

Everyone nods except Ajax and Heath. "What're you guys my dad?" I mutter as they stare at me with a serious look.

"Prys we care about you," Ajax says.

"Sure, sure," I mumble under my breath. I always find it hard to accept when someone says they care about me. So many people say that, but not everyone tells the truth.

"Prys," Heath says softly. I avoid all eye contact with him.

"I have a math midterm right now. But I'll see you lovelies later," I smile getting out of the booth. I walk out of the door without turning back.

"Prys!" I hear my name called and look back watching Heath run after me. Can't he ever just leave me alone. "Heath, leave me alone. I have a midterm right now," I mutter as I speed walk.

I slow down knowing it's no use as he follows in my footsteps right next to me. "We're in the same math class. Did you forget, our midterms are at the same time, same room," he points out. I did forget for a split second.

"Yeah whatever. Walk a different way then," I grumble. Today hasn't been a good day.

"Prystyne stop," he says. When I don't, his hand takes a hold of my wrist pulling me back. Lips crash down onto my own.

So intoxicated by his spell I can't help but kiss back. I can feel his smile against my lips before he pulls away. "I care," he whispers his forehead on mine.

At a loss for words I pull away. Every touch, every kiss, every word of affection feels good but hurts so bad. Because I know I'm getting too close to him. "We shouldn't be doing this," I whisper, pulling away. His forehead wrinkles as his eyebrows crease. Face etched in a confused manner.
