❤︎"You're late," Maya mentions as I walk towards our cafeteria table. I take a seat next to her and hold up five blunts.
"In or out," I ask.
"In," Heath is the first one to take one from my hand. I look to Tag. He takes one. I hold them out to Maya and Levi.
"I don't think I can finish a full one," Maya says.
"I'll split it with you," Levi volunteers taking the one from my hand.
"Alright but the question is where we are doing this. It's Saturday so there's activities and teachers all around campus," Tag informs. I take a second to think about it before getting up and walking out the cafeteria doors.
I look over my shoulder making sure they're following behind. When they are I push the doors open and step outside. I walk around the back of the building. The way it's built should make it easy to get onto the roof.
I crawl onto a huge green box. "What're you doing Prys?" Maya questions. I leap onto a small window ledge and manage to reach and pull myself on top of the roof.
I stand up on the roof facing the four. "You coming or what?!" I shout. Tag is the first one to mimic my actions this time faster. Heath next. Levi does the same but this time takes his time. "Maya!" I call out.
She slowly grabs onto the ledge. Levi goes down onto his stomach and reaches a hand out to help her out. "Well there's that," I mumble walking off. I manage to climb onto a higher part of the roof. I take the blunt and lighter out of my bra and light up.
"Toss the lighter," I hear. I look behind me seeing Heath with the blunt between his lips. I toss it to him and find a decent spot by the edge. I take off my sweater and spread it on the ground before laying down across the concrete roof. My head resting on my sweater.
"What'd you take today?" I bend my neck looking behind me seeing Heath sit on the edge. His legs dangle freely.
"Just this," I hold up the blunt in my hand. "I'm not addicted, you know," I scoff. I mean I could stop. It may take some tries but I feel like I could if I wanted to. Key word, wanted.
He nods taking a drag. "Finally! We are here," I look back over to the group walking towards us. Maya and Levi both sit behind Heath and I while Tag takes a seat next to Heath.
Heath passes Tag the lighter before Tag tosses it behind him for Levi to catch. It's quiet for the most part. Just relaxing and enjoying the highness taking over. Eventually I hear light chatter in the background but zone it out.
"Prys?"
"Hmm," I hum looking to Maya who called my name.
"Damn your eyes are hella red," she says.
"I'm going for a walk," I stand up and begin walking away. I'm hungry. I manage to keep all my limbs while jumping off the roof. Until a low grunt. I look behind seeing Heath. "What're you doing?"
"Going for a walk," he repeats my words. I shrug and walk. I don't mind if he comes. He follows by my side. "So how's Senview, our families?" He asks. That's the city where our parents live.
"Parents are on my ass as always. I don't think there's been a week where I haven't been grounded. Not that grounding works on me," I retort. The one time I got caught I was crossed fazed, my parents only yelled and grounded me. But I soon realized that's all they did.
"Your parents are good I guess. They speak very highly of The Heath Kade. Good grades, perfect attendance, doesn't party, drink or smoke anymore," I repeat his mom's exact words. I look at Heath with interest.
