A screeching voice of a car echoed in the Haveli. The helpers of the Haveli,
Koyli and Bihari were standing with all the necessary items for the rituals.
Of course because their Som baba had finally married to his love. Naina her name was.
When Naina and Somnath stood at the threshold of the house Bihari and Koyli gave a sweet smile.
Koyli was about to proceed with the rituals when a strong voice made them stop.
Kaka from behind : Pehele Ghar ke Bade Bete aur Bahu ka grihapravesh hoga.
Koyli and Bihari got confused hearing their Bade Mallik but soon realised and with wide eyes exchanged glances and uttered : Chote Maalik ne dusra vivaah kiya?
Somnath and Naina stood aside and a girl and Anirudh came in light.
Both had sullen face. What surprised to them was that Bondita was wearing a white saree but had a red chunari on her forehead, bright red sindoor on her maang and garland around her neck.
Kaka entered the Haveli and taking the Aarti thaal from Koyli, asked to bring her another rice kalash and white cloth.
Koyli did the same as she was asked to do.She kept the kalash on the door and stood at a distance.
Kaka : iss kalash ko dahine paer se aake iss kukum paani mein paer rakho aur ghar mein pravesh karo.
Bondita without any emotions did the same as she was asked for.
Kaka : ab iss kapde mein paer rakhe ke aage badho.
Bondita came and stopped at some distance.
Kaka : koyli bahu ko uska kamra dikha do.
Koyli nodded and took Bondita with her while Anirudh went to his study and shut the door with force.
Som and Naina exchanged glances and sighed. Kaka and Binoy were neutral to what ever happened.
Kaka asked Naina to do the same things as he asked Bondita to do so.
Kaka : Thodi der aaram kar lo phir khaana kha ke soja na. Kal baaki rasmein puri karni hai.
Naina nodded and went to other room while Som to his. Binoy went to his while Kaka sat on his rocking chair with closed eyes.
Bihari : Maalik kuch pooch sautéing hain kya hum?
Kaka : puche bina toh rahoge nhi,puch lo.
Bihari : Chote maalik ne... dusra vivaah kyun kiya?
Kaka opened his eyes and let out a deep sigh. By now Koyli had also come.
Kaka : tumhare chote maalik gadhe hain gadhe. Fitoor ke aavesh mein aake kuch bhi karta hai.
