My Wife

Anirudh and the other members of the family reached the hospital. Anirudh's white kurta had turned red. He called out for nurse and doctor.

The nurse came and asked him to take him to the room and wait outside. Anika was also about to go inside when Naina held her. Anika hugged her and cried.

Anirudh came out and sat on the chair. He buried his face on his palms. He heard Anika crying. Going near her he hugged her and caressed her hairs.

Anika" Baba Maa ko kuch hoga toh nhi na?"

Anirudh" Mein Bondita ko kuch hone nhi dunga."

Anika" Maa mere saath wapas ayegi na?"

Anirudh" Haan. Tumahri Maa zaroor wapas ayegi. Yeh mera waada hai."

Anika hugged him tightly and cried.

Nurse" Yeh jisse aap leke aaye, woh aapki kya lagti hai?"

Som was about to reply when Trilochan kaka stopped him.

" Par kaka..." Som uttered.

" Aaj Anirudh ko bolne do.." Kaka said straightening his shoulders and tightening his grip on his chadi.

" Woh meri..." Anirudh stammered in between.

Flashback.

" Ani..." Vanshika said keeping her head on his shoulders.

" Hmm.." Anirudh said reading a book.

" Mein tumahri kya lagti hoon?" Vanshika said.

" Tum. Tum toh meri patni ho." Anirudh said keeping the book aside.

" Aur..?" Vanshika.

" Mera pyaar! Meri jaan basti hai tumpe" Anirudh said pulling her close to him.

" hmm. Agar zindagi mein kabhi tumne phirse vivaah kar liya toh? Kya tum uss ladki ko bhi patni manoge?" Vanshika said making pattern on his chest.

" Anirudh Roy Chowdhary ki sirf ek hi patni hai. Vanshika Roy Chowdhary. " Anirudh said caressing her hairs and holding her hand tight.

Flashback ends.

Anirudh" Woh meri.."

Flashback

Man : Acha maan lete hai. Par kis rishte se?

Anirudh : rishta hona zaroori nhi hai.

Man : waah zamindaar babu. Bina rishte ke hum apko iss ladki ko le jaane nhi denge. Kahin aap iss ladki ko apni Rakha...

Anirudh punched him and shouted: rishta chahiye na. Toh yeh ladki aaj se Anirudh Roy Chowdhary ki patni keh layegi.

He took a pinch of sindoor from a box which was opened and had fallen down.

He filled the hairline of Bondita and said : yeh aaj se Anirudh Roy Chowdhary ki patni hai.

She looked at him shocked and touched her maang with tearful eyes.

Turning him towards her, she whispered: yeh aapne kya kiya?

Flashback ends.

Nurse" Arre aage bhi boliye.."

Batuk irritated by Anirudh's behavior, said" Dekhiye andar jo ladki hai woh..."

Anirudh" She is my wife. Meri patni hai woh."

A wide smile came on everyone's face while the Doctor came.

" Pateint kahan hai?" Doctor asked.
