Bondita and gone to the room to make Anika sleep. She patted Anika's head lovingly, lost in her world. She went through the flashbacks of how Anirudh again stood for her, how he tenderly held her hand, taking away from the world. He had taken permission before touching, before asking for dance. Though it was formality but still it felt like a dream. She closed her eyes and smiled to herself. Leaning on the head rest, and still patting Anika's head, Bondita opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling with a smile.

She came back from her thoughts and looked at Anika who was sleeping soundly. She kissed her head and covering her properly with blanket, she stood up and switching off the lights and went away by closing the door behind her.

She standing by the staircase, looked downstairs and sighed deeply. Almost all the guests were now gone. She saw Binoy talking with his business partners and taking them towards the exit. Kaka was on his way towards the room. She confusedly looked at Kaka who had stopped. Looking at his direction she chuckled.

Batuk and Tara were sitting on the swing, holding hands. Tara had kept her head on Batuk's shoulder and was saying something to which Batuk was nodding smiling and playing with her fingers. Kaka cleared his throat making them aware of his presence. Tara abruptly stood up and blushing looked down, while Batuk made faces looking at Kaka.

Whispering a bye Tara walked away with her family. She looked up and waved at Bondita to which Bondita smiled and waved back. Kaka held Batuk by his ears and pulled him to a room. Bondita smiled and was going to the room when her eyes fell on Maitrali and Kiran. Both were talking something, looking at Anirudh who was walking towards the staircase rolling up his sleeves. Kiran walked away leaving Maitrali all alone.

Anirudh was on his way when Maitrali came and held him by his wrist from behind. Anirudh startled looked behind. He looked at Maitrali and her hand on his. He removed it from her hold and asked "Kya hua?"

" Umm, Anirudh woh mujhe mera kamra nahi mil raha, so where should I go?" Maitrali asked with fidgeting fingers. She looked at him with big eyes.

" Tumhara kamra Kiran Aunty ke saath hi hai. To be honest, Bondita ka kamra tumhe aur Aunty ko diya hua hai." Anirudh said while Maitrali confused asked " Bondita ka kamra? Tum dono ek saath nahi sote kya?"

Anirudh sighed and nodded in no. A small smile came on her lips and she moving closer to Anirudh said " Anirudh, tum dono ek saath kyun nahi sote? I mean you two are husband and wife? Aur husband hone ke naate, you have full rights on her, her mind, soul and body."

" That isn't true. Ek Pati ko koi adhikaar nahi hota apni patni ke upar zabardasti kare. Pati aur patni ka rishta ek khubsoorat rishta hota hai. Pati ko patni ki, aur patni ko pati ki, dono ko ek dusre izzat, iccha ka maan rahna oadta hai." Anirudh said to which Maitrali laughed and said " Anirudh maana tum ek Barrister ho lekin iska yeh matlab nahi ki tum aise behave karoge. I know men, they only want one thing."

" Then you know nothing Maitrali." Bondita said standing near the staircase. Maitrali and Anirudh looked at her while Bondita came down. She came stood infront of Maitrali. "You know nothing, Maitrali."

" What do you mean? You know some men who respect women? Are you even in your senses?" Maitrali asked in rude and sarcastic tone to which Bondita smiled and said " Haan jaanti hoon. Meine aise do shaksh ko jaanti hoon, jo aurton ki izzat karte hai, aurton ke naa ko naa maante hai. Dhruv aur Pati Babu. For your information, Dhruv mere pehle pati hai jinka ek explosion mein death ho gaya tha. Unhone meri ijazat ke bina kabhi bhi nahi Chua. Mera maan rakha samaan kiya. Mujhe padhne diya, udaan di aur Barrister Babu banne ki himmat di. Aaj jahan hoon, unke wajah se hi hoon. Aur Pati Babu, unhone apni zindagi daav pe laga di, ek baar bhi yeh nahi socha ki parivaar waale, samaan waale kya kahenge, mujhe Sati hone se bachaya, uss dhongi se meri izzat ki raksha ki. Inn dono ne apni zindagi mere liye nyochavar kardi par ek lafz bhi nahi bola, you know why? Because they respect women. Mere liye yeh dojo puri duniya se ladh pade, apni izzat ki parwaah tak nahi ki. They know if some women is need of help, then they have to help, if some women is saying no then it means No."
