Meeting the Known

" Bondita ." Someone called her out. Bondita looked at front and got shocked. Tears pooled near her eyes and she whispered
" Aap.."

" Doctor Arjun. Aap yahan?" Anirudh asked surprised.

" Apni behen se milne aaya tha. Bondita. Kaisi ho?" Arjun asked with teary eyes.

" Theek hoon Dada." Bondita said with choking voice.

" Jhooti." A woman from behind said.

" Boudi." Bondita ran and hugged her while Pooja hugged her back and patted her head.

" Bahu. Yeh.." Trilochan asked confused because he knew that Kalindi had only one grand son and he was in Delhi.

Bondita broke the hug and smilingly said
"Kaka sasoor ji. Yeh Dhruv ke bade bhai aur boudi hai. Matlab mere Dada aur boudi."

" Umm Bondita. Mein tumhare Pati se mil chuka hoon par Parivaar waalon se nahi."

" Aap Barrister Babu se Kab mile?" Bondita asked perplexed while Anirudh downed his face again in guilt.

" Woh tumhe jab goli lagi thi tab yahi tumhe hospital leke aaye the na. Par tumhe goli lagi kaise?" Arjun asked confusingly while Anirudh and Bondita exchanged glances. Bondita looked away while Anirudh turned away his face.

" Umm Dada. Yeh hai mere Kaka sasoor ji aur sasoor ji." Bondita said introducing Binoy and Trilochan.

Arjun and Pooja joined their hands and bent to take their blessings.

" Khush Raho." Trilochan kaka blessed them.

" Yeh hai Mere Som Dada. Aur yeh unki patni Naina." Arjun and Pooja smiled and greeted while the latter did the same.

" Yeh meri beti. Anika. Pyaar se Mishti bulati hoon. Isse." Bondita said pinching Anika's nose while rubbed her nose and sneezed. All laughed looking at her while Bondita pulled her cheeks and kissed her nose. Anirudh, Arjun and other family members smiled seeing their bond.

" Yeh hai batuk. Mera dost aur mere roshogullon ka dushman. " Bondita said glaring Batuk while the latter showed tounge.

" Bondita. Tu abhi bhi Roshogullon MI deewane hai? Dhruv se kehke tu 8 - 8 handiyan mangwaati thi. Na ek kam na ek zyada." Pooja said gleefully but soon realised and looked at Bondita with guilt.

The family exchanged an awkward smile while Bondita broke the silence and said
" Woh kahan hai?"

" Naraaz hai. Jao jaake manalo." Arjun said giving a smile. Bondita laughed and nodded. She was about to go when Radha came running and shouting " Baba. Maa. Chipkali."

" Kahan hai chipkali?" Anirudh and Anika shouted and looked everywhere.

Bondita looked at them astonished and laughed. Anirudh and Anika frowned and glared her. Bondita noticing their gaze on her controlled herself and gave a teasing smile.

" Aree Khadoos uncle aap. Aap yahan kya kar rhe ho?" Radha asked.

" Tum..Tum yahan?" Anirush asked frowning.

" Ab aap Radha ko bhi Jaante hai?" Bondita asked with raised eyebrow while Anirudh said
" Haan haan. Mein jab Tumhe dhoondne ke liye nikla tha tab ye mujhe raste pe milo thi. Itna pareshaan kiya na mujhe."

" Haww. Khadoos Uncle. Jhoot mat bolo. Khud do rakshas ke tarah naak pe gussa leke ghum rahe the aur ab Sara dosh mere pe de rhe ho?" Radha frowned and said.

" Radha. Badon se aise baatein nahi karte. Buri baat hai. Maafi maango." Bondita said looking at her.

" Sorry Khadoos uncle." Radha said with a pout. " Par mein aapse gussa hoon. Bohot zyada gussa hoon. Aap mujhe bina bataye kahan chali gyi thi? Aur Dhruv Kaka kahan hai? Dikh kyun nahi rhe? Aur aap iss ghar mein kya kar rhe ho kaaki?" Radha asked Bondita while the latter stood like a stone.
