Night, 11:00 pm.

Batuk's Room.

Batuk was sitting on the arm chair , with an Album in his hands and a glass of wine on the other. He had already finished a bottle of Wine while the other one was half finished. He was just staring a picture. Only one picture.

His and his Mother, Shubra.

He chuckled painfully as he remembered the painful past which his Baba had uttered. The relationship between Binoy and Batuk weren't good.
Tears rolled down his eyes and he uttered looking at the moon, with a painful smile : Maa kyun chod gyi mujhe?

Flashback

Batuk entered the house crying. Kaka saw him and was worried when he saw his nephews condition. From behind his teacher walked in,worry evident on his face too. Only Binoy and Kaka were present at the house. Anirudh, when turned 10 was sent to London for his studies while Som had gone outside with Bihari to get some stationary for his upcoming exams.

Binoy too entered the scene, with hands inside his pocket , a stern face which could make anyone shiver in fear. Adjusting his glasses, he looked on to what teacher said.

Kaka : Master ji aap yahan? Sab theek toh hai na? Mera baccha aise kyun roh raha hai.

Binoy: Ki hogi koi shaitaani! Aur karta bhi kya hai? Din bhar ghar mein har jagah phudakte rehna, baat na manana sabko pareshaan karna. Ab tumne apne teacher ko bhi nahi choda kya batuk?

Batuk,crying voice: Meine kuch nhi kiya Baba...

Binoy,gritting his teeth: Meine Mana kiya tha. Mujhe Baba nhi bulanake ko. Samajh mein nahi aata?

Batuk hearing his voice cried even more ,while Kaka hugged him and uttered to Binoy in a threatening voice: Bas Binoy. Dikh nhi Raha kya ki Kitna Dara aur roh rha hai. Aage ek lafz mat bolna.
While Binoy turned away his face and Kaka asked Master the reason for his arrival and Batuk's Crying.

Master sighed and said : Batuk ne school mein maar pit ki hai. Bache toh ladte hai yeh sunna tha par aaj jo hatkat Batuk ne ki hai mujh uski ummed nhi thi. Batuk ne apne class mein padhne waale bachon ko bohot behrehmi se maara hai. Wajah usne nhi bataya.

Kaka : Batuk kya hua beta? Aise harkatein kyun kar rhe ho school mein?

Binoy : Aap hi ke laad pyaar ne isko bigada hai. Mein batata hoon isse.

Kaka : Ek kadam bhi aage badhaya toh hum bhool jayege ki tum humare bhai aur humare teen bachon ke pitah ho.

Batuk angrily shouting : Aap mujhe kabhi pyaar hi nahi karte. Meri taraf dekhte bhi nahi hai. Meine humesha se baba ka pyaar chaha, aapki taraf se par aapne kabhi mujhe pyaar nhi kiya. Saara pyaar sirf Anirudh dada aur Somu dada ke liye hai. Mere liye nahi...

Binoy slapped him while Batuk stood there ,keeping a hand on his red cheek and crying.

Kaka pushed Binoy back and shouted at him : Pagal ho gye ho kya Binoy? Bache pe haath uthate huye sharam nhi aati ? Beta hai woh tumhara!

Binoy : mere sirf do bete hai. Anirudh aur Somnath. Jis ladke ke wajah se meri Shubra mujhse door ho gyi mein usse apna nhi maanta.
Looking at Batuk he utterd: Tumhe Pata hai sirf tumhari wajah se meri Shubra mere saath nhi hai. Tumhari jaan bachane ke liye meri Shubra ne apni jaan gawha di. Sirf tumahri wajah se. Isse acha hota ki tum aate hi nahi iss duniya mein.
