Kaka called everyone from their rooms.
Anika at the same time came back from the school happily with a paper in her hands.

Anirudh came from the study while Bondita and Naina came from the kitchen. Som and Binoy came from the room with some files as they were discussing something regarding the factory. Batuk was sitting in his room doing Homework when he heard Kaka's call.

The Family decended down the stairs.

Anirudh: Kaka kya hua?

Anika : Mein aa gyi.

Anirudh widened his arms but Anika ignoring him ran to Bondita and hugged her. Anirudh frowned and made faces. Bondita whispered to Anika something. Anika came to Anirudh and asked him to bent down.
Anirudh did and Anika kissing his cheeks giggled.

Anirudh giggled with her while Bondita smiled seeing them. While the whole family looked at three of them simultaneously.

Kaka cleared his throat, dragging attention of the family members.

Kaka : Tumlogon ki aaj Shaadi ki baaki rasmein hongi. Taiyaar rehna.

Bondita: Par yeh Rasmein karna vyarth hai. Na mein unko pati maanti hoon aur naahi woh mujhee patni.

Anirudh: Sahi kaha. Aur Kaka meine aapse pehele bhi kaha tha ki Mera aur Bondita ka koi rishta nhi hai. Meri patni sirf ek hi hai aur woh hai Vanshika.

Kaka : Tum dono maano yaa naa maano. Samaaj ke Nazron mein Tum dono ka vivaah hua hai. Aur uske anusaar tum dono pati aur patni ho.

Anirudh: Agar yeh baat hai toh hum iss shaadi ko Avaidh karwa dete hai.

Kaka : pagal ho gye ho kya Anirudh? Shaadi koi mazak nhi hai. Agar shaadi todni hi thi toh Vivaah kiya hi kyun?

Bondita: yeh sahi keh rhe hain.

Anika, tearful eyes said : Toh kya phirse mujhse meri Maa door ho jayegi? Mujhe chodke jayegi?

Bondita: Anu..

Anika ran away.

Bondita and Anirudh: Anu..

Kaka : ek galat faisle se ek bachi ki khushiyan mat cheeno tum dono. Saalon baad usse ek maa ka sneh mehsoos hua hai.
Aage faisla tumhara hai.

And he too walked away towards the Mandir.

Anirudh and Bondita looked at eachother for a while then turned away their faces and walked away thinking something.

Kaka joining hands : Ghar mein khushiyan laut ke aayi hai woh wapas nhi jaa sakti. Anika ko pjirsr ek Maa ka pyaar mila hai woh cheen nhi sakti.

In Bondita's room.

Bondita was standing by the window thinking about whatever happened downstairs.

Bondita: kya karoon samajh nhi aa rha. Shaadi ki rasmein karneka koi faida nhi hai aur karna bhi nhi chahti. Par Anu dukhi ho jayegi. Kaka umeed lagaye rakhein hai aur Anu bhi ro rhi hai. Shaadi ke rasmein karne ka Matlab Dhruv ko bhool jaana aur mein unhe nhi bhool sakti. Kabhi nhi.

Toh bhoolne kon bol rha hai Bondita- Person.

Bondita: Aap? Yahan.

Som : Sorry aise aa gya par neeche jo hua uske baad I felt ki shayad aapko salha ki zaroorat hai.

Bondita: Nahi da..Matlab Somnath j..

Som, smiling: Dada bula sakti ho.

Bondita smiling: dada aapko nhi lagta ki aapko apne bade bhai ke paas hona chahiye..
