Guilty.

Bondita was walking on the street aimlessly thinking about Anirudh's words." Tum Maa banne ke layak nahi ho".

A bullock cart was passing by when Bondita stopped and said : Calcutta chalenge?

Driver : ji zaroor. Kahan chalna hai memsaab?

Bondita: Aap bas chaliye.

Driver nodded and Bondita sat on it paying the money.

Bondita had slept in the cart due to tiredness whkle her eyebrows squinched and sweat beads formed on her forehead. Suddenly she screamed Anika's name making the cart driver stop abruptly.
She kept her hand on her chest and closed her eyes.

Cart driver: Kya hua memsaab? Sab khariyat toh hai na?

Bondita hummed in response.
Bondita: Dada apke paas paani hai kya?

Cart driver: Paani toh nhi hai par paas hi mein ek dhaaba hai. Wahan se leke aata hoon.

Bondita nodded and looked at the blank sky.
A star was shining brightly, and looking at it she gave a sad smile.

Flashback.

Bondita was looking at the sky when Anika came from behind and hugged her .
Bondita was startled by this and hitting her head lightly with her palm,she said: Shaitaan, soyi nhi ab tak?

Anika : Maa aapko Pata hai naa ki aap jab tak Lori nhi gaati mujhe neend nhi aati. Waise aap yahan kya kar rhe ho?

Bondita : Aasmaan mein dekho kitne saare taare hai. Unhi ko dekh rhi hoon.

Anika,excitedly : mein bhi dekhun kya? Please.

Bondita gave a smile and nodded.

Bondita sat on the chair while Anika sat on her lap and both of them talked and laughed and looked at the sky.

Flashback ends.

Bondita came out of her thoughts as the cart driver called her.

Driver : Memsaab yeh lijiye paani.
The driver forwarded the glass to Bondita which he got from the Dhaba.

Bondita took the glass and drank the water.

Anirudh got up and held the doctor by his collar and said: How dare you? Jaante bhi ho kya kiya hai tumne? Agar meri beti ko kuch ho jata toh?
Kya tum uski zimmedari lete?

The Doctor shivered in fear as he knew about Anirudh. Whole Tulsipur was scared of him. His anger.

Doctor joined his hands and asked for forgiveness. Anirudh pushed him and said : Get out. Isse pehle mein tumhari jaan le loon.

The Doctor ran away while Anirudh sat near Anika.

Threshold of the house.

Trilochan stood on the threshold of the house.

Naina came with the Aarti's Thaal to welcome Kaka.

Trilochan: Bondita bahu kaha hai? Ghar ki badi bahu woh hai. Aarti usko karni chahiye.

Naina : Chali gyi.

Trilochan,confused: Kahan?

Naina : Unke aatmasamaan aur mamta par sawaal uthaya gya tha. Isliye chod ke chale gyi iss ghar ko.

Trilochan looked more confused while Naina after doing the aarti, went away to get water for him. Trilochan sat on the Sofa and looked around the haveli.
