Unexpected Meet.

" Mein aapse dosti karungi par ek shart pe." Bondita said with a sly smile.

" Dosti mein shartein kabse aane lagi?" Anirudh asked frowning.

" Suniye meri baat. Shart yeh hai ki aap bewajah gussa nahi karenge, naahi kisipe chillayenge. Pehele saamne waale ki baat sunenge aur samjhenge. Aur..." Bondita said looking at Anirudh.

" Aur..?" Anirudh raised his eyebrows.

" Aur kal ek din ke liye aap meri baat sunenge." Bondita said with a smirk.

Anirudh's eyes widened and he was about to revert back but Bondita said" Okay mujhe apko dosti manzoor hai. Mein chali."

Bondita ran away while Anirudh frowned at her retreating figure.

" Yeh ladki pagal hai aur mujhe bhi pagal kar degi." He sighed and went to his study.

Night 10 pm.

" Maa suno na.." Anika called Bondita who was in half sleepy state.

" Bolo Mishti..." Bondita said in her sleepy voice.

" Neend nahi aa rhi. Lori sunai do na." Anika asked Bondita and pouted.

Bondita hummed and dozed off. Anika saw that Bondita was asleep, she frowned. She walked outside the room and went to Anirudh. Anirudh was preparing to sleep when he saw Anika. Picking her up in his arms, he asked " Tum ab tak soyi kyun nahi? Raat hi gyi hai na?"

" Mujhe neend nahi aa rhi thi, Maa ko bola Lori sunane par woh soh gyi." Anika said and jumped from Anirudh's embrace.
She lied down on the bed. Anirudh smiled and lied down beside her. Covering themselves with a blanket, he said caressing Anika's head lovingly.

" Bondita Thak gyi hogi na. Subah se kaam kar rhi hai. Aur unhe chot bhi toh lagi thi. Isliye soh gyi."

Anika hummed and said " Phir meri neend?"

" Aaj apki neend kahani sunne se puri karte hai." Anirudh said while Anika giggled and nodded.

Anirudh started to speak while Anika started to sleep. After a while he saw Anika was asleep and snoring a little in her sleep. Giggling a little, he kissed her forehead and taking her in his embrace, he slept.

Next Morning.

The breakfast table was silent while Bondita and Naina were working in kitchen.

Bondita came with plates full of luchis while Naina came with kheer.

Anika came running and sat on the Chair and waited for her food. Bondita pinched her nose while Anika giggled.

One by one everyone left for their work while Bondita and Anika were only left.

Anirudh came and sat. He served for himself while Bondita came with two cups of coffee.

" Kya baat hai. Aaj coffee khud hi le aayi." Anirudh said taking a sip of his coffee.

" An baar baar chorus karne se acha hai na ki mein khud hi banake laaun!"
Bondita said thoughtfully while the latter frowned.

" Maa na aapko mere school aana hoga Baba ke sath." Anika said munching the chapati.

" Kyun?" Anirudh and Bondita said together.

" Woh school mein na kuch function hai, jisme Maa aur Baba ko dono ko aana hai. Specially Maa ko." Anika said drinking milk.

" Acha. Theek hai. Aa jaungi." Bondita said keeping her tiffin in the school bag. She went in the kitchen to get water bottle for her.
