When Walls Are Up

The next morning, Andy checks his phone and still has nothing from his boyfriend. He frowns and sends a text to Sebastian.

Andy- Hey is everything okay over there? Rem hasn't said anything in over a day and it's weird for him

Sebastian- We've had some shit happen. I'm surprised he hasn't told you

Andy- Is everything okay?? 

Sebastian- Thank god we are on our last week of tour. We've been all stressed about what happened

Sebastian- Don't tell him I told you but Remington dropped all the charges. He said he doesn't want your career being affected by this. He is talking about taking a break from you and music but I think he's just panicking

Andy runs his hand through his hair and groans. He shouldn't have dropped anything. 

Andy- Tell him to call me now.

Sebastian- Okay

Andy waits by the phone and hears nothing. He sends a text to Remington.

Andy- Baby, I need you to call me. 

Radio silence.

Andy- Do I need to fly over to Europe to find you? 

He waits another ten minutes and hears nothing.

Andy- Look if you are mad at me at least tell me you are alive. But I will fly over just to make sure you are breathing

He sighs and starts writing a song. 30 minutes goes by and he hears his laptop ringing from Skype.

"Rem, you are alive."

Remington's eyes are red and his lip is quivering. "B...barely..."

It breaks Andy's heart to see him in such a state. 

"What's going on baby, tell me what's going through your head."

"D...do you r..remember how you told me t..to call you when I felt like killing myself?"

Andy gulps and sits up. "Yes baby, I do and I still mean it."

Remington has his hand covering his mouth and he is sobbing. "This...this is me telling you I want to." 

"Okay love. Have you done anything?"

Remington shakes his head.

"Do you have anything to hurt yourself with?"

Remington nods and picks up a razor blade. 

"You know baby, you know you need to put it down. Don't hurt yourself with it."

"I'm just a whore..."

The guilt is stirring in Andy's stomach. "No baby, you aren't. I am so sorry that I said that to you. You didn't deserve such hatred from me."

"Andy..."

"Baby I mean it. You are so fucking beautiful my darling."

Remington looks down and looks like he is going to throw up. "Andy, m...more has happened."

Andy frowns and wants to hug his boyfriend. "Tell me sweetie, what else has happened?"

"I...I can't tell you...yet. I'm not ready..."

"Baby, if you want me to help you have to tell me now."

"Andy I fucking can't." He starts sobbing again. "I have to see you in person. I leave in 5 days. Can we meet wherever you will be playing at?"

Andy grows nervous. "Y..yeah love...We will be in Houston then."

Remington nods and looks down. 

"Are you sure you don't need me to fly out there?"

"Yeah Ands. You need to make money and I, well...I need to prepare myself I guess. I'm going to go though. I'll, uh, talk to you later."

He hangs up. Oh holy shit he is going to break up with me. Andy tears up and starts to hyperventilate. My baby...
