When The Outfits Are Planned

Three months later The Palaye brothers are almost done with their next album, Boom Boom Room Side B. Remington has stayed in Atlanta and recorded there while his brothers have stayed in California and done their part there. However, Remington and Andy are finally flying out to California this week to sell Andy's old house. Remington is nervous that he could be seeing his big brother again and also that William got out of jail. Andy senses his nervousness and has been trying to keep his lover calm.

Remington slowly packs a small suitcase for the two of them. Most of their stuff is still in California. He sniffles, feeling tears coming to his eyes. I don't want to face everyone...

Andy wraps his arms around the boy and hugs him tight. "Talk to me baby, what's going through that beautiful head."

Remington chuckles and sniffles again. "I recall a different time you've told me that."

Andy kisses his cheek, swaying back and forth with him.

"I've been thinking about taking pills again," he whispers. 

Andy stands up straight and holds him tight. "Have you done anything baby?" He takes the boy's wrists and examines them, seeing his old scars still fading.

"I bought some pills from someone..." Remington looks down. "Some Norco and Oxy, and I have been getting more refills of my Xanax."

Andy continues to rock with him. "Thank you for telling me baby, I am so happy that you opened up to me about it. But can you show me where you keep them?"

Remington nods, "They are in the kitchen cabinet above the fridge. I...I don't want to see them leave. Can you just do it please?"

Andy retrieves the pills and flushes them down the toilet. He sits on the bed and pulls Remington into his lap. "Tell me what made you buy them baby."

His lover has tears falling down his face. "I'm fucking scared Andy," he whispers. "I'm scared to see Sebastian. I know he is pissed about us being engaged. And now that William is out..." he gulps and looks down, tears soaking his cheeks, "I'm scared of going there. I like that we have our happy place here away from it all."

Andy wipes the tears from his lover's eyes with his sleeve and hugs him tight. "I do think you need to talk to your brother baby. And you know I won't let that fucker get near you."

Remington is gasping for air and hyperventilating. "I can see the fucking gun Andy! I feel his hands on me." 

Andy hugs him tight, rocking him in his lap. "His hands will never touch you again. My darling fiancé, have you thought about our wedding?"

His breathing starts to get slower. "I...I want it near a waterfall. Something kind of destinationy"

Andy smiles, "Do you know what you would want to wear?"

Remington smiles back, "I already have an outfit." 

Andy's eyes widen. "Well shit I need to catch up."

Remington laughs and cuddles into him. "I'm not telling you what I'm wearing. I just want you to wear what you will love. Mine is dressed up and I'll let you know the colors but you aren't allowed to know anything else."

Andy laughs, "When we land let's start googling some places, I just want to marry you as quick as possible. Do you want any best mans?"

Remington frowns and looks down. "I'd like to have my brothers as it. But Sebby..."

Andy understands and nods. "Maybe we can talk to him there and try to get back on good terms? Hash everything out. Besides, I don't think he's angry at you. I think he's pissed at me for taking you away. So maybe me and him should have that convo."

Remington kisses his fiancé's cheek. "I don't know what I'd do without you baby."
