"It's our last day baby", Remington whines. He cuddles his husband and their new old beagle who they named Charlie. Andy holds onto Remington tight and smells his hair.

"Please don't leave," he mumbles. I'm fucking scared. I don't like what those texts were saying. But I don't want to scare Remington either. Hopefully it is all a hoax.

"Three weeks tops I promise."

"Ugh I don't like you right now."

Remington smiles and pets Charlie. "But I'm going to miss you most off all Charles."

Andy rolls his eyes and stands up. He goes in the kitchen and puts water in the kettle to make tea.

Charlie starts barking at the door, making both the men jump. Remington goes to answer it but Andy pushes him to the side, looking out the peephole. What the fuck no one is there.

"Um, are you waiting for something babe?" Remington chuckles. "I thought you were going to body slam me."

"You wish," Andy says.

Remington looks down and plays with his fingers. Andy catches a glimpse and and wraps his arms around his husband, slowly rocking him.

"I know how your body works baby. What's going on in that beautiful head."

Remington leans his head back onto Andy's shoulder and sighs. "I know you keep saying we will be fine when I leave but I keep thinking that won't be the case. That you will run right back to him."

"Never again baby. You will realize it soon darling. It's okay. Don't even feel bad for being so worried because I would be too. Do you want to go get some coffee before you have to take off?"

Remington smiles and nods.
