Of Commitment (Hessa) - part 11

Tessa's POV

Friday, Tessa's OB appointment

Hardin stops the car in the front of the building.

"Thanks for taking me here." I smile at him.

"I can wait you if you want."

"No, it's fine. I will take a taxi back home."

"Good." He comes closer to me and he gives me a kiss.

"You will be home today?"

"Yes, why?"

"I want to talk with you about something..."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing bad. Don't worry. See you later!"

"Bye!"

I go in the building and I go to the reception.

"Hello! How can I help you, miss?"

"I'm Tessa Scott."

"Oh, yes. Come with me, please." I go after this lady to a room where is a nurse. And she leaves

"You have to take a pregnancy test before your check-up with doctor Robbins, that's ok for you?"

"Yes."

"You have to pee in this cup and then I will stick the test inside. Here you go." She gives me a bottle of water.

I drink the whole bottle and then I go to the bathroom. I pee in the cup and I go back to the nurse. We wait for five minutes and in the end, she says that the test is negative and everything is fine, so I go to the doctor's office.

"Hello!"

" Hi! You must be Tessa, right?"

"Yes."

"Good. Sit down please, I just want to ask you some questions before we do an ultrasound."

"Ok..."

"At what age did you had your first period?"

"Thirteen."

"When you had your last period?"

"May twenty-five."

"You have regular periods?"

"Yes."

She asks me some other questions and then she does the examination. Twenty minutes later, she's done and we are back in her office.

"Everything is fine, Tessa. You don't have to worry about anything."

"Good. Uhm... What can I take as a contraceptive method?"

"We have some contraceptive methods. I will give you a flyer with some information and when you decide on what you want, you can come to give the best method."

"Ok."

"But, if you want to have unprotected sex, I suggest you and your partner to do some tests first. It's not nice to catch some diseases. So, talk with your partner and when you decide to do this, just call here and make an appointment for some tests and then when you have the results, you can come to choose the contraceptive method."

"Good."

"Then that's it."

"Thank you, so much. Have a good day!"

"Thank you. You too!"

I leave her office and I pay my appointment and I leave. On my way back to our house, I do the groceries and two hours later I arrive home. I see Hardin's car in the front of the garage, so he is also home. I enter in the house and I take off my shoes, then I go to the kitchen to let the groceries. I let the bags on the counter and I go to find Hardin. He is in his office, but he talks at his phone. In enter in and I go to him. He moves back with his chair and I sit on his lap.

"Yes, Marco. I can come this weekend. Sure." He kisses my neck and he slides his hand under my T-shirt. This man... "Yes, of course. Good, see you tomorrow." He ends the call. "Are you done?"

"Yes."

"And how it was? Everything is fine?"

"Yes."

"And we can start to have sex without a condom?" he smirks and he bites my neck.

"Not yet. We have to do some tests before. You know, in case of some diseases."

"But I'm healthy, Tess. And I think you are too."

"I believe you, but just in case..."

"Ok, fine. When?"

"I don't know. When are you free?"

"Next week, after you job interview."

"On Monday?"

"Yeah. Ok, I'm going to call at the clinic for appointment for our test."

"Now?"

"Yes. And then I'm going to prepare the dinner."

"You don't have too. I can call mom to come here to cook for us."

"Yeah, I prefer to cook by myself."

"Or we can order."

"No, Hardin. I'm going to cook something, ok?"

"Ok, fine."

"Uhm... are you going somewhere this weekend?"

"Yes, I will go with my friends in a trip. You know, just us." He laughs.

"I should be jealous?"

"I'm not going to fuck them." He laughs and he kisses me one last time and I get up.

"I'll be in the kitchen."

"Ok."

I go to change my clothes and then I go to the kitchen. I call to the clinic and I made our appointment for tests, then I go to the kitchen to prepare dinner. So... I'm going to be alone this weekend. I think I need to go out with Kim, I need some fresh air after all the days I spent with Hardin. I'm not saying that I'm bored of him, but this break will help us to see what's happening between us. That's why I decided to not talk now about our feelings.

He's not coming in the kitchen while I'm cooking. Something happened? No. Everything seemed to be fine. Everything is fine, he is just working. I finish the dinner, I go to his office.

"Come, dinner is ready."

"What did you prepared?"

"Burgers, you favorite."

"Mmm, sounds delicious." He stands up and he takes my hand and we go to the kitchen. We sit at the table and we start to eat. "So... what you wanted to talk?"

"Nothing." I drink some water.

"Tess..."

"Nothing, Hardin."

"You are lying."

"We can talk about this another time. It's just a stupid thing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Do you need help to pack you bag?"

"Yeah, if you want to help me it's fine."

"Yes. Where are you going?"

"We're going with the boat. Fishing."

"Oh, that's great."

"I will take you some time."

"I can't wait."

"It's good because I know how to ride a boat, so a weekend just between us on a boat sounds great."

"Yes, it does."

After we eat, we go to Hardin's room and I help him to pack some clothes and of course he is horny and we finish the day having sex in his room and in the end, falling asleep in his arms. My feelings are stronger day by day and I have to tell him about this soon.
