Of Commitment (Hessa) - part 20

Tessa's POV

I end the call with Alice and I go downstairs, where Hardin is laying on the couch.

"What took you so long?"

"I called Alice."

"And?" He moves a little. "Come sit here."

"They will come here tomorrow." I lay down next to him.

"They?"

"Yes. Alice and Tobias." He starts to play with my hair.

"Will you be mad if I'll break his face?"

"Don't do this."

"I will try my best." He pecks my lips.

Twenty minutes later, our food is here. We sit on the couch and we eat.

"How was at work? Did you meet your coworkers?"

"Yeah... I met a guy, Trevor. He knows you." His facial look changes and I can see that he is not calm.

"Please, stay away from him. He is not good."

"I don't want to have any connection with him. Don't worry."

"Why? What happened?"

"He said some stupid things. Like you are not able to have a relationship. He said that you two were friends."

"Good point on using the past."

"What happened between you?"

"He is an asshole, I don't want to tell you more."

"But I want to know."

"It's not something important, Tess."

"But I want to know."

"You are too curious, sometimes..."

"So? What happened?"

"It's a long story and I will tell you another time."

"Promise?"

"I promise." He takes a bit from my slice.

"Hey! You have a slide on the place."

"I wanted to taste yours."

"We have the same food, babe."

"I know."

"Then eat your food if you want the dessert. I don't wear anything under your t-shirt."

"You don't?"

"Nope."

"Uhm, can we skip the dinner, then?"

"Nope." I smile, but he moves his hand on my thigh. "Move your hand, Scott."

"But I want you."

"But first, we eat and then we can have a bath."

"Yeah, that's nice."

When we are done with our dinner, I go to the bathroom to fill the bath tub. When I pee, I see that my period is here. Great!

When the bath tub is full, Hardin comes in.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Tess? Are you mad about Trevor?"

"No."

"Then what's wrong?"

"I have my period."
