A/N: Big oof, hi there. Sorry it's been so long, I was finishing classes, and then got home and immediately returned to work. But, here's the next chapter, and I hope you all enjoy!

"These 'heroes' are still valuable pieces."

Mikutori sighed loudly, faking annoyance.

"You know, I can barely hear you as it is, and then you go ahead and cover your face with that stupid hand. How am I supposed to listen to your evil villain monologue then?" Mikutori placed a hand on her hip, leaning onto her good leg, smirking at their stiffening appearances. She guessed that they were not expecting such back talk during such an intense moment.

He ignored her, continuing on after a slight hesitation. "I wished you both would've listened to what I had to say. I thought we could have come to an understanding."

"What, you think we're all the same?" Bakugo started. "Not a chance!"

"Then I have no choice," Shigaraki concluded quickly. "The heroes said they'd continue their investigation of our group, so we don't have time to stand here and talk."

"Oh good, because I was only picking up about every other word this entire time," Mikutori fake flipped her short feathered hair, ignoring the ringing in her ears, instead trying her best to piss them off further. She couldn't care less in that moment, knowing that they were either going to be rescued, or they would fight their way out. Neither of them were ones to just give up and quit, not when their lives were on the line.

She could hear Shigaraki growl shortly before turning back to the TV. "Master, lend me your power." Whatever that meant, it didn't seem good, and Mikutori was actually beginning to worry, even if she had Bakugo as an escape partner. She knew that he wouldn't leave her behind either, not in a real danger situation. While on the outside Bakugo appeared non-caring, she knew that he did care about others, secretly, and she also knew that he was constantly checking up on her throughout the few nights they were strapped to chairs, making sure she was still breathing and continued to wake up every few hours.

"A master? I thought you were the boss around here," Bakugo and Mikutori were making good of stalling, of slowly riling them up until they would finally break.

"But you're nothing but a sidekick, aren't you?" Mikutori added. The intensity of the situation was building, and Mikutori was having a harder time holding it together, holding up the matching façade of someone who was entirely confident with themselves, with the outcome of this situation. Mikutori, while she wasn't fully sure, could sense that Bakugo was dealing with the same issue, while he looked as arrogant and confident as ever, she knew that, on the inside, he was slowly crumbling from the stress. They needed to get out of there, sooner rather than later.

Something started then, Shigaraki said something to the others, the man in a mask and top hat walking towards them, also saying something that Mikutori couldn't fully hear or understand.

"If you want me to listen, then get on your knees and beg!" Bakugo's eyes were as wide as saucers now, the fear was apparent behind them. Mikutori was terrified, head moving between Bakugo and the approaching villain. Her mind was racing, and aching, trying to come up with a solution before the man got to them.

She knew the warp guy's quirk was fast, as she had seen it in action many times, that including her kidnapping. And the scarred guy's blue fire was no joke, along with the absolute skill the blonde girl had in speed and accuracy.

Then, there was a knocking at the door. Quiet, Mikutori almost missed it, but knew it was there after everyone's heads turned to the door behind them. Why was someone at the door? There was muffled speech from the other side, but Mikutori heard nothing discernable from it, the voice too quiet to understand.
