Midoriya pointed out the fact that he and Iida could not help, but Mikutori had already thought about that. Uraraka was shorter than her, and not that much bigger, meaning Mikutori's feathers could probably lift her. Mikutori plucked two feathers from her head, eyes instantly glowing a brilliant blue, letting the feathers go to float down near Uraraka's body.
Mikutori lifted the girl with her arms, the two feathers aiding in raising Uraraka off of the ground by pressing up from underneath her back and legs, the feathers making her seem close to weightless. Mikutori transferred her into the basket as Uraraka tried not to bust out laughing at Iida's attempt at being worried. Setting her in the basket, Mikutori had the two feathers go to the far sides of the basket and wrap themselves around the handles. They were plenty strong, and could make sure the basket did not sway or spin.
"Remember," she said while looking down at a giggling 'unconscious' Uraraka. "The feathers will follow you up, but don't touch them. No matter what."
Uraraka gulped before nodding slightly. Mikutori, while knowing the girl was supposed to be unconscious, still made sure to inform her lest she or someone else touch the gray feathers wrapped around the orange handles.
Mikutori yelled up to her team to start pulling the basket up, her eyes glowing and concentrated on the basket, making sure her feathers did as she wanted.
Mikutori couldn't hear it, but Todoroki was saying something to everyone else about making sure not to touch either of her feathers. Had she have heard, she would be grateful for the warning, obviously not wanting someone to be dumb and touch them and see their biggest fears in the middle of class. She could faintly hear some yelling from Bakugo, who was most likely just complaining about being bossed around by Todoroki.
This continued, Mikutori's feathers following the basket back down to load Midoriya, after splinting his leg of course.
"Wow, Kumosora, your first aid is amazing!" Midoriya commented as she secured him in the basket, feathers floating around her, waiting for further instruction. Sometimes it seemed like the feathers were sentient, and followed Mikutori like she was their mother, or something.
"My mother is a surgeon, so she made sure I knew enough first aid to become a good hero. Splinting a broken leg is one of the many things she taught me," Mikutori said, eyes glancing from Midoriya's leg to the ropes tied onto the basket, making sure everything was secure before having her two feathers wrap themselves around the handles again, warning Midoriya about touching them, like she had done with Uraraka.
"Why...what do they do?" Midoriya asked, a look of excitement on his face. He liked learning about quirks far too much. Mikutori was surprised he didn't already know, for she was sure Uraraka would have told him by now.
"Well, when I am controlling them telekinetically, they cause hyper-realistic hallucinations of your biggest fears when touched," she stated almost nonchalantly, trying to downplay how villainous they were, watching as his face became even more excited.
"That's so cool! Is it just touch, or does it have to touch skin? Are they sharp? How far can you control them?" He was rambling now, so Mikutori just shook her head, yelling for the basket to be lifted, her blue eyes glowing with concentration as she followed the basket up with her eyes, the long feathers again making sure the basket didn't move around.
They quickly finished with Iida, and the next groups started doing the same exercise.
While another group of four were the heroes, Mikutori, Todoroki and Mineta were the chosen victims, the three sitting alone down in the chasm. Since Mikutori refused to close her eyes at the mercy of her classmates, it was chosen that Mineta would be the worried victim, Mikutori the one with a broken leg, and Todoroki the unconscious one.
