Cedric led him back to the castle via a long dark tunnel. When they came to the other side of the tunnel, they were under the Whomping Willow. The two made a run for it before the tree decided that they were a perfect target for its smashing practice. Rey and Cedric then made their way up the slopes back to the castle, where they were halted by Snape. The potions master looked at them as if they have grown a third eyeball or something before he let them go.
The two were cackling like mad as they made their way to the great hall. It was dinner time already, that means they had to head back to their own tables.
"So this mean I'll see you later, Ced?"
"Of course little one, see you later." The boy ruffled his hair before heading back to the Hufflepuff table.
As Rey walked to the Gryffindors' table, he could see Hermione threw him a glance.
"So... you and that Hufflepuff seeker?" The girl spoke in a barely audible whisper, so that Rey was the only one that could hear her.
"Me and who's a Hufflepuff seeker now?"
"That Diggory boy..." Hermione hissed under her breath.
"Ced's a seeker now?" His blue eyes twinkled with amazement.
"Have I mentioned that he'll be captaining the team too this year?" Hermione's lips twirled into a grin as she watched Rey started to blush.
"Really?"
Rey couldn't hold back his excitement as his eyes started to wander around, looking for his boyfriend. He found the seeker across the hall, just in time as Cedric looked at him. They held their gaze before smiling at each other and returning to their food.
"Well that was something." Hermione smiled at him before giggling uncontrollably.
"Stop it, he's staring at us." Rey plead to the girl, but she just couldn't stop laughing. Because Hermione couldn't stop her laughter, it was only natural for Rey to joined in.
A few heads turned to the two of them to see what happened before turning back to their own business. Cedric stared at both of them in confusion, as why would they giggled ever so often after staring at him. Rey couldn't help but shed a light pink when the Hufflepuff raised one of his eyebrows at him.
"By the looks of it, you two are quite close."
"Oh yeah... We're quite close." Rey boasted proudly to thwart Hermione from asking further questions, but it only sounded like he was drunk after drinking 5 pints of muggle beer, not butterbeer.
"So you two are dating?" Hermione asked abruptly. Rey coughed out the pumpkin juice he was drinking, drenching Ron in the process.
"I've got my answer."
"Bloody HELL. What's the matter with you??"
"Oh Melin! I'm sorry Ron." Rey tried to look around for handkerchief.
"Don't be so dramatic, Ronald." Hermione flicked her wand and muttered an incantation under her breath. In an instant, Ron was dry again.
The two kept bickering after that throughout the dinner, dragging Rey and Harry for support. Rey just focused on his pudding, occasionally nodding along to Hermione while having zero understanding of what happened.

After the dinner was concluded, the students were ushered back to their dormitories by Professor Dumbeldore. The Gryffindors, who were mostly sleepy, ready to imbrace their lovely bed. They made their way up the marble stairs slowly, but the walk up was just getting slower and slower. Rey wondered if someone had died or fell asleep on the stair, so he decided to check it out.
