It was merely days away from the upcoming Yule Ball. And as rightfully so, everyone was truly elated for the upcoming events. No one would ever stop talking about the Ball, whatever the subtopics are. You could hear someone talking about their date before another person chimed in about their outfit, and you could even hear some gossips about who the Professors are bringing before someone snooped in and dropped the most scandalous revelation at that very moment.

Considering that it was Hogwarts, the most scandalous things everyone could ever think off was perhaps some eneimes ended up dating each other. Rey himself couldn't really blame them, as the 'enemies to lovers' trope was one of his personal favorites. Speaking about enemies to lovers anyway, Rey could only wonder whether a certain long-time foes would ended up as each other's date.

"Did someone killed Hedwig?" He heard a few students murmured behind him, followed by a few snorts from the Slytherins present.

"He hasn't got anyone to be his date for the Ball yet." A girl chimed in. Rey swore that it could be Parkinson, but he couldn't be too sure about his ears.

"Won't you date him, Parkinson?" The Bloke asked before adding on, "He's the chosen one."

"Him? No, thanks. I'm already going with Nott." Parkinson flipped her hair before walking away as if she was on a fashion show. Well, to the best of her imagination that was.

Parkinson aside, Rey was suddenly reminded about his promise to Harry thanks to that conversation. And the thing was, he and Harry have been playing around this 'do me a favor' thing for a while now. It all started because Harry was insistant on returning the favor to Rey for doing his duty. Despite of Rey thinking that it was all a front, the Specky Gryffindor really helped him during his Divination assignment. Hence why they now actively helped each other on their assignment. Harry helped Rey to fake out his horrific demise in order for Professor Trelawney to praise him, and Rey helped Harry for his transfiguration homework. They kept  their little game simple, considering that they only started to get close during the past few months.

It was now only three days remaining before the Ball was due now, and Harry hasn't got a date yet. Everyone was right for saying that the Gryffindor was looking miserable, as Harry was indeed looking miserable. Rey knew that he had to help the bloke, but he didn't know what was the best course of action for that situation. But thankfuly, Harry was just as understanding as ever. The specky Gryffindor spared Rey from having to think what he had to do by pulling him over for a small talk. Although he wasn't really sure where Harry would take him to, Rey didn't have any worry about him. Harry was a decent bloke... Unlike a certain person named Fritjof.

"Rey... I need your help." Harry sighed as he closed the door of that empty class. If no one knew that the boy was anxious, they could easily mistook his expression as an urge to puke.

"It's about your date, innit?" Rey replied briefly, causing Harry to stare at him in confusion. "I'm sorry, must have carried a bit of your guys' accent. But anyway, your date."

"Right." Harry shook his head. "I haven't got any one yet."

"Well, I can see that. But do you have anyone in mind?" Rey raised a quetioning look.

"I had one, but she's taken." Harry looked down onto his hoes, with a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks.

"Any... other one?" He pressed, causing his fellow champion to blush more furiously.

"I- I don't know... I don't get that idea often." Harry stammered. It looked like Harry got something at the tip of his tongue, but he was holding it back ferociously.
