AUTUMN

"Come on Ced, catch up!" Rey screamed at the top of his lungs as the two were chasing each other's tails on a grassy plain.

"You're too quick for a KIDDO!" Cedric screamed back at him.

"Hey! I'm not a kid!" Rey turned around to protest at his boyfriend. But instead of being on a sunny plain and Cedric chasing after him, he was somewhere else. Somewhere dark, damp, and strange.

"Ced?" Rey walked to the end of the room, which he should mention, creeping the hell out of him.

As he walked closer, he could see someone lying at the feet of a giant statue. The girl was looking pale... . He couldn't see the face of the girl, but he was sure that he have seen her somewhere. Rey walked closer to make it sure but he was halted at the sudden sound of a footsteps.

"Who's there?!" He instinctively brandish his wand from his robes, which strangely he didn't have on before.

He wished it would be Cedric, pulling out a prank or something. But unfortunately for him, it wasn't Cedric. Instead, someone maybe in his seventh grade stepped out of the shadow and walked to him slowly, like a vicious predator. His whole body trembled with fear. He couldn't remember the person's name, or where he was at, but his body seems to remembered something. As if it was trying to warned him desperately to run.

"I'm really sorry. But you're not the one I've been waiting for."  The boy cornered him.

Rey wanted to escape. Maybe kicking the boy where the sun don't shine and make a run for it was a good idea, but he just couldn't move an inch. As if the boy already immobilized him with pure terror. Instead, the thing that he could do was muttered a faint 'what'.

The boy, ignored him, continued on with his words, "I have no need to talk to you." He then pointed his wand to Rey and said one word that shook his core.

"Crucio."

And with that, Rey was jolted awake. He sat up immediately, drenched in cold sweats. He lifted up his hand to fix his messed up hair and couldn't help but notice that his fingers were trembling. He took a few deep breaths and calmed himself down. He glanced at the alarm next to him, and it was only a little over six. Rey absentmindedly twiddled the bracelet that Cedric gave him to soothe his anxiety. Who knows how long did he got lost in his thought, because the next thing he knew, Cedric's voice brought him back to reality.

"Hey... love, are you all right?" Cedric's inquiry made him looking up.

Cedric, by the looks of it, was just freshly out of the shower. Water were dripping from his damp hair, running down to his gorgeous face, and continued on lower to his body. He knew if it was a different situation, Cedric would've teased him to death... or they would make out, that one even better. But this time, the Hufflepuff looked at him warrily, waiting patienly for an answer.

"Ye.. yeah." Rey ran his hands through his hair before sighing, "Just a nightmare?"

"You want to talk about it?" He asked softly, didn't want to overwhelm him with questions.

"I don't think so Ced, sorry." Rey replied somberly, making his boyfriend sat beside him.

"Hey, don't be..." Cedric ran his hand up and down his sides to calm him down.

"I've had my share of nightmares too you know." Cedric then put two fingers under his chin and turned him to look at his face. "Once you're ready to talk about it, you know that I'll always be there to listen to you right?"
