"Thank Gods..." Adrian sighed a breath of relieve, as he managed to stop the car just in time.

He was enjoying his time, driving on the countryside as he was heading back to Brampton. The food that he had was tasty, which somehow made himself feel a tad sleepy. Not to mention the beautiful view around him, only further made the entire scenery before him feels more dreamy. Maybe it was just a tad too dreamy, as it managed to divert his attention from the empty road before him. So much so, that Adrian almost hit a cow that was crossing the road.

"Cows..." He rolled his eyes at the cow before continuing his drive.

He continued to drive slowly through the beautiful countryside that would eventually lead him to Barnton. Adrian set his legillimency loose, prompting him to let out a breath of relief. He have learned so much in these past few days, either it was from his father's advice or the book that Lady Sophia have lent to him. He noted that by regularly setting loose his legillimency while being on a serene environment would eventually let him to get a better hold on said legillimency.

Those new knowledges that he got were being proved to be unvarnished, as for the first time in years, Adrian finally felt a true peace. The peace that he felt right now -without the constant need of dampering his legillimency- reminds him of his younger days. The days where he haven't figure out his ability, and didn't need to constantly hearing what the others really thought on him, his family, or anything.

"Maybe Lady Sophia was right..." He bemused, "That woman."

Lady Sophia was his favourite member of the family. Ummm..., his favourite deceased member of the family. The reason of she becoming his favourite was because the other deceased members of the family could never provide him some wisdom or advice just like Lady Sophia could, as they were already... well, dead.

Lady Sophia, was maried to his ancestor around five centuries ago. So technically, the lady was supposed to be his great great something mother. After her passing, she decided to bound herself to the family, in order to vanguard the vast amount of knowledges that the family have accumulated over the millenia. She mainly stayed at the residence's library, not giving a single care about any foolery that her descendant was doing. And the reason for that, she was the one that could said it best.

"Well you can literally roll down the side of the Olympus for all I care. But if you ever find yourself needing an advice, just seek me and I will pour my very soul into it. Most of the times nobody ever cared to do so, especially the boys in the family. They prefered to act in such a foolish way, all the time! And I have to witness them being so on one occasion or another. Maybe that's why none of them ever lived long enough until recently, Nicholas came through. It was definitely due to their harsh behaviours, but whatever, really." She ranted while floating above the cold marble tiles of the library.

Just like the impression that you might have got from her remark, she was indeed quite indifferent. Yet despite her cold-hearted words, she have been actually cared a lot for her descendants.

She helped the five brothers during the 1770 prosecution by disturbing the intruders. That prosecution, which led to the decimation of the Olympias, forced the remaining five to flock into the new world. With that unexpected migration, she followed the five as they finally settled themselves in Toronto -while giving advices every now and then-, before their group eventually moved further to the west. Yet despite all of that, she insisted that her actions were based on her need to protect those knowledges.

Besides that, Lady Sophia have also helped her troubled descendants on numerous occasions, on her own accord. Like the instances where she helped a few of the young Olympias to learn something that they were having difficulties on, or maybe -on the most recent occsion- when she helped the 5 year old Rey, who lost in the library during their hide and seek game. He remembered how frantic his parents were when their search were fruitless, only to sighed a breath of relief when Rey showed up the day after. With that, Adrian personally didn't know whether she was living in denial (no pun intended), or she just didn't know that her actions were actually emanating her maternal and caring traits.
