Saturday night, the duelling club meeting took place at the great hall. By the looks of it, seems like everyone was present. Or at least, the majority of the student body. Maybe they were hoping to get something useful from this club.

Well to be honest, that would depend on the teacher. If Professor Flitwick was the one leading the club, it would be brilliant -considering that the man was named as a duelling champion once-. Rey just couldn't thought of anyone beside Professor Flitwick would be appropriate enough to lead the club.

"Hey, little one." Cedric greeted, while hugging him excitedly.

"Hey, Ced." Rey just embraced the hug from his friend.

"I see you're excited for this." He added.

"Oh, of course. Never had this kind of club before." Cedric grinned from ear to ear.

That happy look from the older boy reminded him of a very particular creature he saw at the park last summer. The creature was cute, and quite popular among the muggles. Yet unfortunately, Rey didn't know what breed it was.

"Well, I'd be merry if Professor Flitwick would do the teaching. As long as it wouldn't be Loc-"

Rey was cut short from his word. He was stopped by the sudden entrance of Professor Lockhart. He still hold some grudge on the man after he asked him to pretend as a banshee infront of the class. He even ordered him to shrieked, making himself looked like a fool in front of Malfoy.

"Well bad luck for you, little one." Cedric talked in hushed tone due to the amount of people standing near them.

"Why do you hate him that much tho?" The older boy inquired.

Rey didn't gave much answer. He only gave out a displeased grunts here and there, before growing silent.

Lockhart silenced the lot. He announced that Professor Dumbeldore had granted him permission to start that club, due to recent events. He then introduced Professor Snape as his assistant. What a shame. Personally, Rey would prefer Snape over Lockhart. Because even though the former was obviously biased against his house, at least he was more capable in teaching than the latter.

Lockhart continued to boast to the students for them to not worry about their dear Professor Snape. Rey supposed it should be quite the exact opposite, but he didn't care enough about that. Professor Snape's lip was curled in such an evil way, and at that moment he knew Lockhart was done for.

And as true as it could be, Rey was true. Once the two lifted their wands and pointed it at each other, Snape cried the incantation Expelliarmus. That disarming charm was usually used to rid opponent of their wand. But due to the strength of Snape's determination, Lockhart flew back so far till he hit the wall and fell to the ground. Some was worried about Lockhart, but most of the people became more excited for the fight.

After standing up to his feet, Lockhart along with Professor Snape paired the students into twos. Rickett was paired with Preece, Harry was paired with Malfoy, and Rey was paired with Cedric -thanks to the place they stood, which was at the far back of the flock-. Once Lockhart gave them a go, the whole hall erupted into chaos.

"Ready?!" Cedric shouted through the chaos.

"I'm always ready, Ced!"

And with that, Cedric and Rey began to threw incantations toward one another. It was all fun for him. Rictumsempra? Dodged. Flipendo? Finite-ed. They went on for a few until at one point, the two accidentally sent Expelliarmus to each other. When both of their scarlet lights collide, a fairly strong explosion happened and sent them both flying back to the wall.
