Cedric woke up to the knocking on his door. He stared at the clock, showing him that it was not even three in the morning.

They have finally decided to return to his house at the beginning of August, to the surprise of his parents. They had thought that Cedric would have stayed the whole summer at Barnton, which the sheer thought of that managed to blew his mind ten times over. It was both of their decisions, really. Rey thought that it would be nice for him to get to know his parents more, while Cedric himself just missed his parents badly. He was thankful for actually acting on their decision, for he have missed his parents so much and how Rey actually got the chance to know them further.

Right... Back to the knocking on his door. Today was the Quidditch World Cup final, meaning that beyond his bedroom door, was his father, knocking repeatedly to wake him up.

"Son, time to wake up." His father called him while keep knocking on the door.

After pulling up the bare minimum amount of his sleepy soul, Cedric finally able to muster an answer. Though his answer was rather meek, his father seemed to understand whatever he said before walking away from his door.

It took a while, but finally his consciousness returned just enough for his body to do basic motoric command. So he lowered his head to look at the Gryffindor that was sleeping peacefully next to him. Rey laid his head on Cedric's shoulder while hugging him in an awkward -and must've been uncomfy- sideways hug. The boy almost looked like an angel, and Cedric deeply regretted it that he have to woke him up.

"Love, wake up." He shook Rey's body slightly, but the boy didn't wake up. Knowing that they would be late for the portkey departure if they didn't move any faster, he shook Rey just a tad harder.

"óchi." The Gryffindor muttered faintly before going back to sleep again. He should've known that waking the boy up wouldn't be easy.

"Little one, come on. It's the world cup final..." Cedric shook Rey's body again. He was about to contemplating on tickling the boy's till he wake up when Rey started to open his sleepy eyes.

"Wh... Sleep...." His boyfriend sputtered out incoherent words.

"Come on, little one. We need to wake up." Cedric told Rey, who was still in the process of waking up, before heading onto the shower.

After adjusting the temprature for a bit, he returned to their bed to pick Rey up for shower. The boy was already sitting on the edge of the bed, with his head hung low. Shaking his head, Cedric picked Rey's small body up with ease and make their way onto the shower. Without the need to peel off any clothings, they entered the shower before starting to wash their body.

Rey, being the pampered boyfriend he was, poked his sides repeatedly to get his attention. Cedric quickly turned around and face the boy before him, who was asking for him to wash him. He didn't mind at all and quickly washed both of their bodies off. It was almost natural for him to do that, as he have done that many times before. After showering, Cedric helped the two of them into their clothes before pulling the Gryffindor downstairs for an early breakfast.

Downstairs, his mom was already preparing a meal for all of them. Cedric happily wolfed down his food while Rey sat idly next to him, slowly munching down a biteful of food with his mind completely blank. It was funny when the Gryffindor accidentally smeared a tiny amount of melted yolk on his nose after lowering his head in lethargy.

After breakfast, the house went on full gear as the his parents rushed their final preparations for going to the final match. His mother let the dishes cleaned magically while packing up a few jars of food ingredients into his father's bag. His father fixed up his outfit for one last time before polishing his shoes. He thought that it would be a matter of time before his parents turned their attention towards them, so Cedric figured that it would be better for he and Rey to check their packed up belongings.
